SAVE MARLBOROUGH PRIMARY SCHOOL CAMPAIGN TO HOLD PEACEFUL PROTEST

WE WILL BE HOLDING A PEACEFUL PROTEST OUTSIDE PETER JONES ON TUESDAY 7TH JULY, 4.30-5.00PM
We are getting closer to reaching the 1500 signatures we need in order to generate a full council meeting.

Marlborough School is a Victorian landmark in Chelsea. Locals are devastated that the council has decided to demolish this beautiful building instead of updating the school from within as originally pla . nned.
English Heritage received representations against listing Marlborough from the local authority and the developers.

 The council wishes to downsize the school plot to build offices and shops for revenue. 
The building of the school and shops/offices was part of a deal agreed with John Lewis in exchange for not including ANY affordable housing on their Clearings development.
The Clearings development has now been sold by John Lewis to McGrove, a company purportedly funded by Mike Ashley of Sports Direct.

    Has the Dame and/or others contacted the Kensington branch of 38 degrees, who may be able, through its contacts to generate the rest of the votes? I am writing to Julia to bring it to her attention if she does not know already...
