ALL PLANNING CONSENTS SHOULD BE GRANTED CONDITIONAL ON A CONSTRUCTION NOISE REDUCTION PLAN

The Dame says PLEASE SIGN

"We propose that all future planning consent should be granted with a condition covering noise and nuisance: a Construction Noise Reduction Plan"

Loss of amenity is relevant to whether planning permission should be granted. The National Planning Guidance says clearly that construction noise is a relevant factor as to whether planning permission is granted.
Residents objecting to planning applications are routinely told that noise and nuisance cannot be considered in the decision-making process. This is incorrect. We suggest that the Council applies its own policies and follows the national guidance. "
Please sign this petition and show the Council that we want to be protected just as other residents are in other local authority area.

  1. Signed. About time too! Hornton Street's old washed-out grey suits have a nasty habit of ignoring petitions (Earl's Ct/ Ken Odeon etc) with thousands more signatures than this one currently has... but fingers crossed

  2. Signed. Very surprised that such a petition would be originated by the 'old washed-out grey suits'. Rather strange that the Nest is now pretending to listen to Borough residents' wishes.... It should be signed as many as possible... But, I suspect that this is nothing but a stupid PR stunt, to show willingness on the Nest's side to listen. We will see that it will all be swept under the carpet at the first possible opportunity.....

  3. It seems that Graham Stallwood is rather upset about this petition, as he seems be doing everything to undermine at least one person behind the petition. Perhaps he should stop throwing his toys out of the pram, and actually do something for residents and making a planning condition and follow the policies. Because otherwise legal action may ensue....
    Have signed

  4. Already signed. What fun it is to criticise without responsibility.

  5. 8 months of hell so far for Earls Court residents but no help from RBKC or their minions Inane and Balding Spalding

  6. Signed. If Stallwood is upset, that's best possible reason why every resident should sign this petition. He's seriously bad news for us all.
