Imagine the embarrassment of her being sent abroad to represent the UK. Ernie Bevin was also without formal education but by god he knew what he was doing. She is just low grade to make unions happy.
DeleteThere are many excellent reasons why Steven Watson is the Dame's favourite Chief Constable...performance, success and high standards are but a few. GMC is no longer in special measures whilst the Met is. Why is this? Because Met leadership is just appalling. Watson knows how to lead and the results prove it. You doubtless prefer style over substance: The Dame prefers hard policing.
