The Dame wishes all her dear readers peace and happiness in the year ahead.
Yes, even to those who hope a horrid accident befalls her....
Those unkind souls will be unhappy to note over 30,000 page views a month attest to the ever-growing popularity of her musings....
You wishes are warmly reciprocated...
ReplyDeleteYours as ever Sad Badger and my loving sette at Holland Park
Good luck Dame
ReplyDeleteThe Dame is a national treasure.
ReplyDeleteDear Gracious Dame,
ReplyDeleteCan we please have more dirt on the TMO in 2017?
Yes indeed. TMO scandals are very important.
ReplyDeleteSo too is Garbagegate, a complex racket run by the Council for the last 25 years. RBKC ensures that millions of pounds a year are illegally extracted from residents, rich and poor alike and handed to contractors. This is not to be confused with the similar racket at the WRWA. Neither scandal is about bins. They're about our money. Millions.
A right good showdown is needed in 2017
ReplyDeleteTMO is too big. Another NHS. Needs to be broken up into smaller units. Less bureaucracy and a chance for tenant involvement and motivation.
ReplyDeleteAnother Cockle cock up
We cannot blame Cockle for the monumental cock up of housing mismanagement.
ReplyDeleteThe blame for the creation of the TMO, the Tenant Misery Organisation, rests with Baroness Hanham and Martin Kingsford with the help of some sycophantic tenants who were rewarded with special favours for supporting tenant misery and mismanagement.
However, we can still lay some blame at Cockle's door. He should have given Robert Black the bum's rush when it became clear that Black was allowing the TMO to plumb the depths of despair.
