KWASI? YOU FORGOT MORGAN THE GORGON

This is Baroness Morgan, a woman totally unqualified to be near any business. So how on earth was she ever allowed to get involved with the Royal Brompton when her appalling business track record was known to all?
She was a NED of three Dog companies.
Carrilion....Southern Cross and Countrywide.
When the Dame demanded she depart from the RB that expense grabbing chair of the governors, Mates, wrote this to the Dame

Kwasi Kwarteng, the new business secretary is now pursuing eight former directors of the former hoping to ban them as directors for fifteen years.

The outsourcer’s former chairman, two chief executives, two finance directors and three non-executives could be disqualified under proceedings brought by Kwasi Kwarteng, Business Secretary.

So, Kwasi, why has Morgan been missed off the list?

  1. This woman was a secondary school teacher. How on earth can she claim business experience?

    1. Friends in high places. Just like the hopeless CEO of Test and Trace, Baroness Dido Harding. Raised on a pig farm and an ex jockey, she was at Oxford with David Cameron and her husband (an MP) is a chum of Boris Johnson. Oh, and she also wrecked Talk Talk. But her dad was a Field Marshall so she is definitely OK

Morgan has less form but she is equally hopeless. Graduated from the "school of Carlyl", that well known Government rip off merchant

  2. A little more common sense from Government recruiters would not go awry. The new appointees need to "feel right", no matter how hopeless they are. In today's internet world a jockey is a jockey. Cannot be hidden. And a big risk for Tories to recruit pig farmers to high office. Remember that Tory Leader of Essex Council who was sent to jail for claiming expenses for overnight stays at Claridges? He was also a pig farmer. The rather grand Lord what was his name?

    1. Fly on The Wall, I think you are referring to Baron Hanningfield, who was sent to jail for fiddling his expenses on a gross and blatant scale. He had style.

    2. Hanningfield...so English and sonorous...for a bent pig farmer

    3. The Lord Hanningfield suffered the misfortune to be caught with his fingers in the till. The Dame campaigned fearlessly on behalf of Essex tax payers and piled pressure on those who were seeking to defend and protect the rotten peer. Readers will recall that the Dame pursued a similar campaign against another bounder closer to home, one Sir Pooter Cockle

  3. Her friend and supporter 'the Colonel' Michael Mates was unseemly in taking substantial expenses whilst lead governor at the Royal Brompton. Perhaps Mates should take a leaf out of the dep leader of K&C's Ethics Book: Taylor-Smith works pro bono!
