Colin Hall dominated and dictated to the Board of Govenors while Carrie was Chairman. She permitted this breakdown of governance for reasons that are difficult to understand.

The Govenors need to get rid of Hall and his "friend" Chappell and replace them with a caring and balanced top team
DeleteThe Duty of the remaining governors is clear. The school needs new leadership. Colin Hall cleaned up a failed school by installing a brutal regime but it is now time to introduce acceptable and civilised behaviour to the institution

ReplyDeleteThe Governors should be presenting Hall with two options. Go quietly and there will be a fulsome public statement of thanks for his work turning around a failing school. Or be fired and he can try his luck at the Tribunal for unfair dismissal.
