A National Treasure
Prince William called for us to 'celebrate' the life of another old Dame describing her, rather foolishly, as a "National Treasure".
To be a "National Treasure" these days you have to be a mummer or strummer.
And why these days are we always asked to 'celebrate' this or that or 'reach out' to people?
So, how about adding our own much loved Dame to the pantheon of "National Treasures"?
"National Treasure"? No. A National Disgrace. Without this vile person's efforts I would now be a peer of the realm and able to assist in the governance of our great country.
ReplyDeleteI could not agree more, Sir Merrick.
ReplyDeleteWere it not for the disgusting press in this country digging around for dirt on my relationship with Mr Nadir I, too, would have been an aristocrat able to benefit the lower orders with wise judgment.
hahahahaha...stop moaning
ReplyDeleteThe press never stopped me dressing up like a prat and I am now an aristocrat and able to get in to any restaurant. When my partner shoot off to Thailand an upgrade to First always awaits us. Who said the Lords is a waste of space?
It saddens me to think that a wicked old woman can attack these men devoted to public service
ReplyDeleteI think the Dame and Col Mates would make a brilliant couple
DeleteDo you? How interesting....
DeleteThe honourable rarely consort with the dishonourable
National Treasures get sold off to property speculators in Chelsea. Watch out Dame.
