Head of Fox, Miss Madden
No one can take away credit from Miss Madden and her staff for her wonderful school.
Everybody accepts it as a paragon of Primary School excellence-hence the waiting list.
Getting involved in demos-whatever the motive, is not really what a taxpayer funded school should be doing.
Please stick to the excellent work you do and no more media interviews, please.
Dear Dame,
We read with interest your excellent piece on the cycle lane folly on Kensington High Street. It is good news indeed that the Council has seen sense and listened to the concerns of its residents and hard-pressed local businesses.
Well done them!
We also read with interest and concern the inappropriate involvement of Fox Primary School teachers (also covered in other news outlets). They have every right to express their views but this must be done as individuals not (apparently) as school representatives. This very public involvement seems to have happened without the appropriate approval of their Governing body or the majority of parents. A sad day indeed for good Governance and common sense.
One can only wonder what OFSTED would make of this! Far better for Fox to focus on their children's education and educate themselves on the rigours of good governance especially where hard-pressed tax payers money is concerned.
Yours,
Concerned of Kensington
The photo says it all. The little vixen, Ms Madden, is the kind of adolescent that my grandmother would never let near the boys. "Trouble" she would mutter. "The family doesn't need this". And she was right.
ReplyDeleteSociety used to have its ways of keeping waifs out of harms way. But in today's woke environment all kinds of rubbish gets put in positions of power and are given a wrecking ball. And it is getting worse. It used to be the old oddballs like EDC who got through the safety barriers, but now we are having to put up with juveniles like Madden
This is not acceptable. If this conduct by a Head Teacher is tolerated in Kensington then, frankly, we are all doomed.
ReplyDeleteResidnets fund this school through Council Tax. The Town Hall needs to call in the school inspector to remove Ms Madden, restore discipline, and set an example to other would be Marxists and wokes
You lot are out of your minds. What is this obsession with the idea that freedom starts and ends with your god given right to drive a polluting metal box that is the biggest killer of kids in the world after disease? Most people driving along Ken High Street are going somewhere else.
ReplyDeleteIt's the law. As is the right to drive the slowest, most vulnerable and risky form of transport on a heavily used major route such as Ken High Street.
ReplyDeleteYou can't legislate against stupidity. Or selfishness.
As you say, most people travelling on this road are going somewhere else - or would like to be, if it weren't for half the road being closed off.
Madden has exposed herself as a person who is eminently UNSUITABLE to be Head of Fox school.
ReplyDeleteShe needs to be removed
There is much to be said for teaching children, by example, about both civics & the environment. Well done Fox !
ReplyDeleteAs for snarling about the use of tax payers money to support the school- What about the waste of tax payers money( £700,000) in the half cocked, partial, installation of the cycle lanes followed by their removal- long before any real analysis could be done as to their effectiveness. On this issue it looks like both the Council & the Dame (?)find themselves on the wrong side
I suppose you would have wanted the children to come out and join Black Lives Matter and Anti Vaccination demos. I fear you are on the side of sheer madness
