What happened to the image of Cllr "Putin" Coleridge? His PR machine seems to have collapsed - the photograph is terribly unflattering.
Fitzpatrick is failing to maintain the image of his paymasters. Or could this be a revenge attack? Is the Hornton Street PR Department (costing taxpayers £1 million per year) about to get the chop?
This article which seeks to undermine Cllr Tim Coleridge is a vindictive piece of writing by the Dame. It has nothing to do with the Council's PR Department.
Mr Fitzpatrick would not involve himself in such trivia
For once, the Dame agrees. The £450,000 a year Fitzpatrick PR Team is far too busy promoting important things like UFO's landing in council car parks and frogs being spotted in Holland Park. Oh and the fantastic Nour Festival part sponsored by the super car loving Qatari's. Take a hike, fool....as Ludo would say!
Incredible how this Council brushes off resident opinion and pursues development projects that destroy the essence of this ancient Borough. The only explanation that comes to mind is backhanders flowing from the developers who make huge profits from these initiatives. Exploiting the whole apparatus of consultation and approval that was set up to protect us has become the fine art of the bureaucrats whose skill set is private gain underwritten by "process"
Alas, residents are no match for a determined group of luddites (certain Councillors and Officers) who have taken control of the planning system in Kensington and Chelsea. Their motivation is undeclared earnings.
Ambitious journalists need to get onto this. Some elementary probing into personal assets compared with declared earnings might be enlightening. One "pauper Councillor", a Mayor to boot, was found to have three offshore bank accounts and Kensington properties hidden in a British Virgin Isles Trust. Interesting........
Anonymous, 31/10/2015, 11:17: would you by any chance be one of the ghastly gits referred to on this page? Desperately trying to deflect attention from the sad truth?
Individuals in high places, HRH for example, is perhaps aware of the various covert machinations of RBKC and others;;; you may recall his interference in the Chelsea Barracks debacle.... when Candy & Candy (or was it them, really) very swiftly got shot of their share of the project? Dark forces work in strange ways... Oh, what IS the current status of the Barracks, anyone?
