RESIDENT CLAIMS TORY CANDIDATE TAKES THE BISCUIT!

Dear Dame,

I wanted to reach out as a dedicated follower of your work and someone deeply interested in local politics. I must share my disappointment regarding the lack of coverage of the Norland by-election on your blog.

I am really surprised and upset that you claim to judge each councillor on their merits yet have said nothing about the outstanding Monica Press. Are you being partisan?

Over the years, there have been both effective and ineffective councillors from all political sides in RBKC.

Exemplary councillors widely known and respected all over the borough include Sof McVeigh, Linda Wade, Sarah Addenbrooke, David Lindsay Cem Kemahli, Ian Henderson and Monica Press.

There are many others. I won't speak too much about the bad, but one of the worst was Mr Invisible Graham whom most residents had never heard or let alone met.

As a lifelong Conservative, I'm deeply disappointed to see that in recent times the local Conservative Association has been taking us Norland residents and our votes for granted, so I have come to mind that it is time for a change.

That view has only been reinforced after learning that the Labour Party have selected former councillor Monica Press for the Norland candidacy.

Mrs Press was an outstanding local councillor and she impressed me on the doorstep with her knowledge, experience and willingness to take on challenging work, especially on housing.

By contrast, the local Conservative Association has selected a candidate who doesn't appear to wish to discuss much with residents other than what her favourite biscuit is.

Very disappointedly,

One-time Tory

      Emma Will is genuine
and really does care about residents and the community. People of Chelsea will never forget that time when she got up
to try and speak against that horrid
Saudi Kings Rd redevelopment at the planning committee and wasn't allowed to .

Her reelection to the council would start to knock the Labour opposition back into shape

Corbyn reduced Labour to a frazzle in 2017. Dent Coad was also reduced to a frazzle in that General Election. Labour has turned the corner with last night's marvellous results. The only way is up for those who kept faith with Sir Keir's Labour and for the Marxist Corbynistas the only way is down.

  10. As a non-Labour, local resident, I have to add that Monica Press has long been an excellent councillor. She and her equally hard working, Colville colleagues, Ian Henderson and Nadia Naill, were forced out by EDC's extreme Left. Rather than move on, Monica has returned. I wish her luck in Norland. If she fails this time, she will stand again in Colville, because her Leftist replacements do nothing for residents or anyone else. They are utterly useless; interested only in grabbing their councillor allowances.

Marxists like Dent Coad and Corbyn don't get it. They waste time arguing about what is and what is not socialist. Whilst this is great fun for backbench Marxist MP's earning £91 K, where does it leave the people they purport to represent? I'll tell you straight- in the shit, that's where it leaves them.

    2. Marxism does not improve the lot of anyone. Emma wants to shake off the Marxist mantle for the benefit of Kensington's upper classes but to retain it in Dalgrano, Golborne, Notting Dale and St. Helen's. It'll never do.

A vote for EDC is a vote for the Tories. She is an asset to Dizzy Campbell and Felicity Buchan.
Look at the evidence. She left the local Labour party in tatters, we re stuck with the weakest, most incompetent and most ineffectual group of Labour councillors ever., she deselected good moderate socialist councillors and replaced with morons who dont know what they're doing. EDC's deselections even ended up gifting the Tories with an extra councillor because one of the idiots she picked in Colville was such a principled socialist she defected to Tory. That' Now her bid to stand for Kensington MP is going to cost Labour votes awarding Buchan a second term.

They are people of consequence . Mrs Dent is but a, not very interesting, ghost from the past.

  13. The GLA constituency is West Central & our newly elected Labour representative is James Small-Edwards. What is known on him so far is that he's a young Westminster councillor elected 2 years ago in Bayswater & he has fairly famous parents (the son of rugby coach & former player Shaun Edwards & M People pop singer Heather Small.)

Since EDC plans on standing in Kensington & Bayswater next general election, she's still a N Kensington councillor & has joined forces with councillor Mona Ahmed to form an 'independent group' so they can still sit on committees. So annoying as that may be, she's very much still on the scene. As much as you, I or the next person might want to wish EDC was a 'ghost from the past', the reality is it will be 2 years before people can vote her out of both Kensington & the town hall &
her political career is finally over.

This is what I have always thought about Emma Dent Coad and it turned out I was right.

The list of doing "anything" to promote herself is long- here are a few points that come to mind:-

      Crawling to Corbyn,
Crawling to Abbott (when Abbott was close to the power)
Shafting her political superiors in the Kensington CLP resorting to Trostkyite tactics for her own ends.

Emma is the Natalie Eplhicke of the left.

Don't forgetting that we're stuck with EDC's pick of councillors. Imagine living in Colville and being stuck with rubbish councillors Isse and Benton failing your community for the next two years and no option to get rid. Even worse when one of them has defected to Conservative. Most of the others are her friends and accomplices. When people aren't having to suffer from the consequences of Coad's bad decisions and actions anymore and she is no longer an elected politician with any kind of power base in the Council or the Labour party will be when people can finally move on.

I think she lacked the self discipline to submit work of the required standard for examination.

When I think of all the PH.D's that have been started by all of these middle class hopefuls that have amounted to nothing more than a damp squib.

In days gone by, so many of these self indulgent thinkers had the effrontery to get money from the public purse only to lose interest later.

    8. It was stupid of Dent Coad to claim that she was royalty. She wanted to let the plebs in North Kensington know that she was something special. More importantly, she NEEDED to let the well-heeled of Notting Hill, Kensington, Knightsbridge, Campden Hill and Holland Park know that she was a cut above them. She is an appalling snob! I would suggest that her Socialism, with an emphasis on royalty, is a sham.

It was idiotic of Dent Coad, the Socialist, to mention her royal heritage something that no socialist should ever do. Royalty is a cross that she now has to bear. It is her Achilles Heel in the election campaign.

If Flicka Buchan, the Tory who believes in the inequalities of King, Church and Country, claimed to be descended from Isabella McDuff, the Countess of Buchan, who put the crown on the head of Robert the Bruce, we would all take the piss out of her. Dent Coad of Borgia fame is fair game.

EDC raised £38, 000 on Go Fund Me - a staggering amount. She is now running out of money and is asking her supporters for more. She is very greedy!

£10,000 of that £38K went down the pan on that dreary election leaflet that she did. Another £15,000 went up the Swanee on the second leaflet drop.

Why was there a 50% increase in costs between leaflet one and leaflet two. People on the dole, single parents and OAP's, gave her that money. She needs to learn how to budget, cutting her cloth and all that jaz...........

@Too much easy come, too much easy go -

A member of the British Royal family would not understand what it meant for a lone parent or an old age pensioner to donate a fiver to indulge their latest whim or fancy. Therefore, we cannot expect Emma Dent Coad of Spanish Royalty and Nobility to have any understanding of the same people giving her a fiver to try and get elected to parliament so she can receive a package of
£91, 000 a year plus pension and perks.

It is typical of a woman who sneaks out of the pub without buying her round of drinks to expect people who are up against it financially to indulge her latests "whims and fancies." Expecting people on the dole, pensioners and lone parents to donate in order to finance her parliamentary candidature. If she is elected and gets the

Felicity Buchan MP made it to the University of Oxford from humble beginnings in Aberdeenshire Comprehensive. No one in my Comp made it to Oxbridge, some went to Her Majesty's Prisons instead. Flicka obtained a Law Degree at Oxford and worked in business thereafter.

Joe Powell obtained a Bachelor of Arts' Degree from the University of Cambridge. Does anyone know what he studied and his class of Degree?

Emma Dent Coad attended the Scared Heart School in Hammersmith. She did a taught Masters at an Art College in South Kensington and signed on at the University of Liverpool for a Doctorate - which she put on hold when she became an MP in 2017. She did not continue with the completion of her Doctorate when she was voted out after spending a life time working on it. Does anyone know why?

Liverpool Uni is a "redbrick" university, a civic university. I believe it is the original "redbrick."

THERE IS MORE TO THIS THAN MASONRY AND RED BRICKS.
Royals who go on to Uni usually go to Oxford, Cambridge or St Andrews - all of which were established long before the redbricks and the more recent, modern, plate glass universities.

Ms Coad's wiki page reveals her misogyny.

In November 2017, Dent Coad was criticised for retweeting a post on Twitter using a quotation from Roald Dahl's children's book, The Twits, to suggest that the Prime Minister Theresa May was 'ugly' due to her 'ugly thoughts', whereas Jeremy Corbyn had 'good thoughts' and was 'lovely'.

Ms Coad has form for antisemitism: something "ugly" that she has in common with Road Dahl and Jeremy Corbyn.
