We wouldn't want to accuse him of being a disingenuous hypocritical opportunist but Keith Exford, the man who wants to sell off huge chunks of the Sutton Estate Chelsea to overseas investors for millions, complains the Government is trying to force him to sell tenants their own properties.
So, it's acceptable to sell-off your historic legacy stock to overseas investors but not to hard working tenants?

ReplyDeleteWhat sort of disgusting lowlife considers it acceptable to sell off our heritage to overseas buyers while destroying social housing and the community of Chelsea, and simultaneously denying local families' aspirations to own their homes.

Sounds pretty normal for his type. The borough positively oils and massages these kinds of people, they're our role model for success.
ReplyDeleteThere is a large amount of social housing in Chelsea because it had been a poor part of London until fairly recently (after The War). Many charities, including Cadogan, contributed. It is quite wrong for this housing to be sold off into the private market.
