OSBORNE? HANG YOUR HEAD IN SHAME!

hanging his head in shame

George Osborne is quite odious but that goes with the territory: few politicians would ever be invited to the Dame's magnificent Capri villa...a haven for cultured, arty types like Mr Hockney and Sir Tom Stoppard.

Osborne is especially nasty. Most of us remember the famous letter detailing his West Country 'Ugandan Activities'.

The other day Osborne claimed Conservatives would scrap IHT...... such a liar with his empty promises.

He made one promise about lifting the threshold to £1m and then reneged.

But the Dame has been following the curious case of the nicked British Museum artefacts and Osborne's role as chair of the trustees.

In 2022 Osborne was warned over 2000 items had gone walkabout yet waited two years before calling in the cops.

The government granted the BM nearly £70m in 2022-23. Osborne had a duty to do much more to protect our treasures yet he did too little too late. By doing bugger all he made it even more difficult to retrieve the loot.

He should resign without delay....but of course, these types don't do 'honourable resignations'

  1. Met him socially a couple of times. Typical rich boy. Deeply unimpressive. Not even worth the Dame's fans' time criticising him.

  2. Now let's get this straight.9 June 2024 at 19:33

    Osborne is toast!

We need to discuss the current scene in Kensington and Bayswater. We need to focus on Powell, Buchan and Dent Coad for the 2024 GE - not Osborne. He is yesterday's man.

Dent Coad has produced a bar chart on her "X" account claiming that the 7,000 plus people who voted for the Liberal Democrat, Sam Gymiah, in 2019 "WASTED" their vote and put the Tory, Felicity Buchan, in. A highly presumptuous claim by a woman who claimed for years on Twitter to be a "proud anti-racist."

Now this Dent Cold has always had a thing about the Lib Dems. I can remember her arguing with me way back when that if there were no Lib Dems standing in Kensington then the constituency would be Labour. She seemed to have a strange, unidimensional, view of democracy, the choice should be binary, Labour or Tory.

When Dent Coad garnered those 16, 000 plus votes in 2019 and lost by a margin of 50 seats to the Tory, Felicity Buchan, there were things that some voters, including Lib Dems ones, did not like about our MP defending her seat which is why they voted Lib Dem or possibly Tory.

Dent Coad's racial prejudices as exposed by Shaun Bailey AM are not what decent in Kensington's society wanted.

    1. The main contenders in the 2024 general Election are:-

      Joe Powell, LABOUR,
      Felicity Buchan CONSERVATIVE.

Emma Dent Coad is now an "OTHER" with no policies.

  3. Dent Coad , the tergiversator.10 June 2024 at 09:30

I have just looked at Dent Coad's bar graph on her X Account. The presentation is inconsistent, dishonest and manipulative. Such are the whims of a bad losing turncoat.

The Conservative, winning bar on Dent Coad's bar graph in the 2019 Election is coloured blue and is labelled "Conservative." Straightforward and pretty much what you would expect!

The Labour Party's losing bar in the 2019 Election is not labelled Labour nor is it coloured red. It is labelled Emma Dent Coad and is coloured in Green. This is not what one would expect.

If she labels the winning bar in 2019 as Conservative then she should be consistent and label the bar which represents her defeat, as the Labour candidate, "Labour"

It would have been different if Dent Coad had labelled Felicity Buchan's winning bar Felicity Buchan instead of Conservative and coloured it say, Black.

She has labelled the Lib Dem Bar, Lib Dem and marked it with the legend "wasted votes."

Her lack of consistency in the labelling of those bars in her graph with the colours in which they ought to be represented is to create a misleading impression amongst the electorate; some of whom might think, in a split second of viewing it, that she is the same person standing this time round and, therefore, the same Labour person. But she is not Labour anymore.

Emma Dent Coad's values are no longer consistent with decent Labour values. With values like hers, it was a mistake to allow her to stand for Labour back in 2017 but Corbyn was in charge then.

  4. EDC in that graph says, "Only Emma Dent Coad can beat the Tories" that is patent nonsense. Any candidate could beat them. The Lib Dems are doing well nationally.

Could any of the other candidates report her to the police for lying?

  5. EDC really does greatly overexaggerate her own popularity doesn't she? The votes she got in 2017 and 2019 were votes for LABOUR. Let's see her campaign knocking doors in wards other than Golborne Colville & St Helens so she can actually see that the whole constituency does not consist of her supporters. Delusional.

    1. Delusional, she is.

As regards knocking on doors, EDC is now advertising for canvassers to do her door knocking. I hope those who volunteer know that she will blame them if she loses just like she blamed Labour canvassers at the last Kensington Council election for not winning more seats.
