BORWICK TO CHAIR VISIT ENGLAND

Dear Dame

You will be pleased to know that Victoria Borwick has been appointed chair of Visit England.

She is ideally qualified for the role. VISIT ENGLAND

The role of Visit England is to promote tourism and with her energy and enthusiasm Victoria is a perfect choice.

Like or dislike her politics it is a fact that Victoria cares about people and always goes the extra mile to help those stuck in the bureaucratic machine or just in need.

Well done, Victoria

  5. Pity Borwick is not still MP. She at least thought more about constituents. Buchan is only interested in promotion

  6. Flick Buchan is a totally useless MP. Remember she endorsed Liz Truss’s disastrous economic policies if you can even call them that. Anything for a promotion. Come in Buchan your time is up.

  7. Victoria was marvellous with the late Colonel Vickers; totally compassionate. She was unfortunately replaced by the worst MP Kensington ever had.

    1. I heard that Victoria Borwick purchased food and delivered it to Major Vickers when he was on hard times: compassionate and altruistic.

Lady Borwick's predecessor, Emma Dent Coad, castigated Ian Henderson for making sure that Foodbank Service Users had food to eat during the Covid 19 pandemic. Contrast the mean-mindedness of Dent Coad with the generosity of Victoria, Lady Borwick.

    3. I know that Victoria was constantly taking food that she had paid for herself, to families in North Kensington, when she was our MP. Now she works day in day out for Dads House food bank, collecting food and delivering it to families who need it. She is caring, focused and hard working. No wonder Elizabeth Campbell was jealous and bad mouthed her with invented complaints.

Victoria has so much to offer and will be a real asset to Visit England and the promotion of this country.

    5. Oh I am surprised you don't know. I thought everyone knew.

In 2017, Emma Dent Coad set her stall out at the Labour Party Conference declaring herself the ' Royal Family's Worst Nightmare.'
She advocated the abolition of the monarchy at the Conference and gave an interview to the press about it. She could not just say, 'I wish to abolish the monarchy.' Oh no, she had to go one better. No one could ever outdo this class conscious socialist. She said, "I am one of them" and by that she meant Royal and Noble blooded. She stated that she can trace her family lineage back to Christopher Columbus and the Borgias. Sounds pretentious and snobbish, it is!

She is classier than the late Queen, Prince Charles and either of his sons.

  8. I remember other cases other than Col Vickers where Borwick would go well beyond the call of duty to help a family in dire need. She is one of the most genuine and compassionate people I have ever met.

  9. Everything Buchan does is driven by petty ambition.

    1. Buchan and Dent Coad have much in common then.

  10. I know Victoria Borwick well. I have seen her in action with troubled people. Most politicians are calculating: Victoria is not. She just loves helping people. Elizabeth Campbell deprived us of a first class representative out of pure spite. I hope the redoubtable Dame will do all within her power to ensure Campbell is never honoured in any way.

  11. I have only good to say about Victoria. And I wish her well.

  12. I was particularly impressed when Victoria went to the Iranian Embassy to support Richard Radcliffe who was on hunger strike outside the Embassy over the arbitrary detention of his wife Nazanin in Iran.

Emma Dent Coad was the MP for Kensington at that time and she did not bother to support Richard Radcliffe against one of the most oppressive regimes in the World. Dent Coad backed Corbyn no matter what including his hatred of western values.

  13. I may not agree with all of VB's politics, anymore than she would agree with everything that I say on the subject of politics, but it is possible to disagree with people in a decent and constructive way without being nasty; this is what makes us human. VB is always decent when she disagrees with people. Sadly, disagreeing politely is absent amongst the hard, dogmatic, left. They are belligerent, irascible and nasty when they cannot win an argument - it shows an intellectual weakness on their part. My Trotskyite father was typical of this.

I suppose I am a political hybrid: there are aspects of political thought in all four major political parties (Tory, Labour, Lib Dem, and SNP) that I agree with.
