HSBC CLAIMS TO BE 'CHANGING THE FORMAT OF CUSTOMER SERVICE'...WATCH YOUR BRANCH CLOSE DOWN!

HSBC is the preferred bank for money launderers and drug syndicates.

It is also in the pockets of the corrupt elite running China so when one gets a letter from this dirty bank telling you it is 'changing the format of its customer service' you know it will mean even lousier levels of service.

HSBC is closing down most of its branches in K&C so the old and decrepit like the Dame will have to go miles to take out their 'widow's mite'.

This is a thoroughly disreputable Communist Party of China-linked bankster and reputable people should avoid it.

This move was not taken lightly. Our Age Capability Team carried out an in-depth consultation amongst age and health challenged customers. Unanimously, they supported the decision to end face to face people based service. Some here suggested the two mile walk to the Post Office would be good for their health. We support our customers angry at the mass closings of post offices at a time when personal service is in such demand.

  2. Gosh! HSBC is quick off the mark! They are clearly running scared of our Venerable Dame's influence.

The bank's comments are tosh. HSBC's "Age Capability Team" is unlikely to exist outside the pages of its own corporate decision document. Perhaps The Dame's more mature readers can confirm to her in private that they've been consulted on this radical plan.

Today at HSBC Notting Hill Gate no information was displayed announcing this decision. Instead there was a single copy of a 6 page document available on request. The paper is entitled:

"HSBC UK Branch Format Impact Analysis Report, Notting Hill Gate Date of format change: on or after 5 July 2021." At the foot of each page is the single word: "PUBLIC."

The document contains not a single mention of any organisations or interest groups that were "consulted" on the changes. Despite this, it concludes that only 8% of HSBC/NHG's customers rely solely on the branch for banking services. So how does it know?

It's perfectly clear. All the banks will soon rid themselves of serviced counters. These are staffed by people who must be paid. Cash and paying-in machines don't. The public will do the bank clerks' work; while the clerks will be sacked. The banks will pocket the resulting profits. The elderly, the disabled and the poor will go to the wall.

  3. All the banks are rubbish. Their greed ruins the environment and people's lives. HSBC is amongst the worst. Every few years there's another scandal somewhere. Now they want us to work for them and we'll doubtless, eventually be made to pay for the privilege.

They are like the privately owned water companies. Fundamentally corrupt in concept and practice.

  4. According to the FT, HSBC has launched an initiative to provide banking services for those without a fixed address. This is an excellent idea. Pity that HSBC no longer bothers to provide adequate banking services for the rest of us.
