Royal Borough residents and businesses have until Monday 17 June to have their say on the future of the London Fire Brigade and that a public meeting about the plans will be held in the Small Hall at Kensington Town Hall this Monday (10 June) between 7pm and 9pm.

For full details of the planned proposals and to take part in an online consultation go to www.London-fire.gov.uk/LSP5. Alternatively, if you would like a copy of the plan and consultation document call the LFEPA on 0800 9888 569.

  1. Sounds like some Councillor passing the buck and inventing work for residents and officers. Councillors know what they have to do and should get on and do it. And if they don't know what to do then they should find out. They wanted their job so they should jolly well do it and stop trying to waste the time of busy residents

This is the list - Proposed fire station closures:
Belsize, Bow, Clapham, Clerkenwell, Downham, Kingsland, Knightsbridge, New Cross, Silvertown, Southwark, Westminster, Woolwich

So we need to make our voices heard, every second can count in a fire
