THE REALLY SEEDY PARTY

THORPE ....GOT OFF!
The Dame was enjoying her Monday morning 'me time' with the Daily Mail and a cup of Blue Mountain from her Jamaican coffee plantation when she came across a complete and thorough demolition of the facade of holiness the 'Very Liberal With Their Hands Party' have managed to erect.

And from  a local angle it should not be forgotten that a great friend of Phelps....and a senior luminary of the National Liberal Club....was a happy recipient of our ex Mayor's disgusting emails of under age boys.
The Dame is minded to name names.......
The Lib Dems make Conservative and Labour seem positively angelic.

A leader who accepts money from a convicted criminal and then refuses to return it to the victims and goes on to deny knowledge of  the predatory activities of his chief executive is not fit to be Deputy Prime Minister.
Leg it Clegg....
left to right...Monkey Cable, Monkey Clegg, Monkey Alexander
The appalling hypocrisy of  the Lib Dem leadership is chronicled here.Daily Mail

What a corrupt and venal bunch!

Thank goodness for Britain's free press. Sometimes they may go too far and get it wrong. But not often. Since there are no other safety nets, we need to protect them. And of course the Dame doing her bit for posterity.

Whatever happened to standards in public life? Why did we allow standards to be flushed down the toilet?

  2. Can anybody name one single Liberal in public life who has integrity?

  3. Cable must be preparing for a monumental splash in the media. He has been curiously quiet and we all know how difficult it is for him to hold back when there is a chance to grab the headlines.

  6. This convinces me that we need press freedom to expose these terrible people. Even if the press sometimes gets it wrong and innocent people duffer as a result. Its a price we have to pay. The only way at present to expose and get rid of the filth that has infiltrated public life.

  7. Call me old fashioned, but as far as I know, Rennard has yet to invite the great British public to an intellectually challenged American President's pet war. Unless I'm mistaken, another political party dreamed up the poll tax, payable regardless of income.

    1. What does war and poll tax have to do with pervs? Smith/Phelps/Rennard should never have been tolerated in public life. Too many people turned a blind eye for too long.

  9. Without wishing to diminish the seriousness of this matter, a No Confidence vote in what?

If all women publicly complained of the inappropriate behaviour of socially or professionally dominant men, the sexes would be unable to socialise or work together. Yet segregation is no solution. Subordinate men can suffer similar abuse. Yesterday a cardinal stepped down.

    1. A whiff of common sense. Well said Sir. High time we took more control of our lives and stopped bleating to Nanny.

  10. In this case it's a whiff of female common sense. And by the way, you have entirely missed my point. It is not for subordinates to continue to keep quiet about abusive superiors, as they have had to for thousands of years. The only real solution to this problem is for those in power to learn to respect others at all times.

    1. Pie in the sky Madame. Respect is a wonderful thing and to be admired when we experience it. But there is that other thing called human nature and the tendency from time to time to overstep the mark. We rely too much on the Nanny State to sort things out. Situations drift and we end up with Saville and Phelps. Much better to develop a culture of mutual respect and reinforce it at local level with a robust "fuck off" when appropriate. It almost always works

  11. The female majority of the population takes another view. So do the less physically able; people of colour; gay people; as well as exceptionally tall, short, fat or bald folk etc. Respect is a right rather than a privilege. As you say, your world view leads to Saville and Phelps. Unfortunately many people are unable to say "fuck off" at appropriate moments. Happily, I'm not one of them. Bye.

  12. What a huff and puff about nothing. All the news so far is that an ugly guy (Rennard) chatted up and propositioned nine young women over a period of ten years. Nothing wrong with that. Unfortunately for him he is ugly as shit and they said no. The poor guys self esteem must be in a terminal nose dive and he should count himself lucky that he has a wife to go home to.

If it had been D D Lewis making a pass at the young Liberal hopefuls the outcome might have been different.

Not long ago at a Party Conference I saw a certain well known Mayor on the seafront propositioning anything in a skirt at 1.00am in the morning. Under a lamp post.

  13. Think of all those careers that were launched on the casting couch. If you want it badly enough girls, go for it. Otherwise stay at home in the kitchen

  14. My Mate The Builder26 February 2013 at 17:33

Last night I was out with my young millionaire mate. Well known guy. Strangers were throwing themselves at him. Not a bad looker but no work of art. In the circumstances, if the two parties hooked up, it was a deal. Gold digger and punter.

  15. The Dame is an old fashioned old thing....so she believes that senior staff should not bully those subordinate to them. And this is exactly what Rennard is alleged to have done. It is inexcusable behaviour. Had the culprit been a CE of a large company he would have been the subject of disciplinary action. The Dame would be interested to hear from the Lib Dem cllrs.....they seem very reticent to share a view on this.
