POLITICS...HOLLYWOOD FOR UGLY PEOPLE

SEXUAL PREDATOR
The Dame is very concerned for the virtue and safety of our lady Lib Dem councillors.
It would appear the Lib Dems are riddled with sexual predators-or so is reported HERE
Please ensure you are escorted by a chaperon if invited to any of Lib Dem 'Away Weekends.'
Cllr Jones could turn out to be useful at last.....as a chaperon!

But seriously...and it's very serious, the Lib Dems position themselves as 'holier than thou.' Yet their organisation harbours sexual perverts and takes money from criminals.

The other day Clegg was quoted as saying that it was necessary to tax the elderly out of their £2 million London flats to 'encourage entrepreneurial activity'-or rubbish to that effect. Has anyone ever met an 'entrepreneurial' LibDem? They have never existed and when they do they usually end up in court! Clegg, himself has never done anything outside politics and the idea of Cable, a third rate economist, directing British business is a very sour joke.

SEXUAL PREDATOR?

  1. This is politics. Pretty boys and girls need to enter the testosterone filled world with eyes open. The movie business and the fashion business (casting couch) are no different. Even the back benches of Hornton Street could tell a thing or two. So lets be grown up about this and not be too precious. Smith/Phelps/Lamont do of course need to be locked up and the keys thrown away.

But when Greenhalgh and the Remnant put themselves forward they know that they risk getting a firm "buzz off" or a good dose of ridicule in the media. Jeremy Irons has a great perspective on all of this.

Gossip and the informal organisation are powerful and need to be listened to. When people in positions of authority abuse that authority (it clearly seems to be the case here) then they should be quietly moved on. An organisation that is "alive" manages these things early and easily. The Lib Dems seem to be curiously "deaf" about certain matters and need to raise their game. Otherwise there will be more shocking earthquakes like Smith and the current tremor

    1. 'Quietly moved on'?? Dear RCE, sorry but this attitude is precisely how predators like Cyril Smith and Jimmy Savile, and any number of Catholic priests etc have been able to prevail for years.

I can't believe you think they should be moved on to new pastures where their sins/crimes are not known about. I am genuinely appalled by this suggestion.

      What about the victims?

    2. Exactly. Saville and Smith were never dropped. Would have been a wake up call. They would have lost their lifestyle, prestige, etc early on. A powerful lesson and deterrent. Instead they were tolerated. In other words, they were encouraged. Everyone turned a blind eye. Too timid to stand up and say "no". Leave it to someone else. Hope it will go away. This is failed Leadership. And of course innocent people suffer.

The priests are a similar story.

  4. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Abuse cases are right in front of peoples eyes and ears, its whether they choose to hear and see is the issue. In the case of vulnerable children and adults, if there is a rumour it should be automatically investigated irrespective of who is being accused.

It is because of these sweepers we have the Saville, Lamont, Smith and Phelps, Baby P, Victoria Climbie, Winterbourne View, Death by Indifference, Six Lives and many more cases because these creeps think they are untouchable. The very people who are meant to hold them to account dont until its too late, but somehow they have time to 'reflect' to publish documents about 'lessons learned' and to run conferences costing fortunes about how they messed up.

Tell that to the victims whose lives are either destroyed or who are dead.

    1. Nick Clegg is pathetic. He goes on television to say that he only had "indirect knowledge" of the Remnant. And then the toad resigned on health grounds. "Difficult to do anything more".

What a prat Clegg is. The whole point of good Leaders is to take a stand when necessary. To stand up and be counted. The current practice of mass expediency by too many of our politicians is scandalous. Politics has become a playground for fair weather people intent on their own advancement.

    1. The fact is they have been employed and well paid by us the taxpayers for years. But they seem to have been unaccountable to anyone.

This seems to be quite common on all levels within government, read this blog.

  8. In truth, this type of disgusting behaviour, however unacceptable to most of the populace, still goes on. It is as if there is one rule for most and another rule for the chosen few. Peter Hitchens summed the plight this country is in and that is that we have been on the decline for many decades and this will no doubt continue. In my opinion this decline is not just economic but a moral decline caused by a number of things; one being that the country has not has a decent Prime Minister for 22 years!

    2. It is called the tolerant society. With this kind of leadership example no wonder police supremo Greenhalgh is emboldened to let his hands wonder in the GLA lifts

  11. The next time the lady with the full rump and tight boobs feels the grubby little fingers of Greenhalgh wandering in the GLA lift she needs to snuggle up close and place a stiletto heal on his foot. And then press hard. Very hard.

End of problem. No public fuss. Just Greenhalgh with a limp and a very bad memory
