THE DAME SAYS "CELEBRATE"!!!

CLLR PALMER AT WORK

Many thanks to Cllr Palmer for alerting the Dame to this award. Palmer expected the Dame to use her power and influence to lobby on his behalf: the Dame had other plans..... She intends to nominate Cllr Sir Pooter Cockell in the category

"COUNCILLOR ACHIEVING THE BIGGEST ALLOWANCES AND EXPENSES IN THE UK"

Pooter currently, with expenses, is on £150,000 a year!!

In the BEST EFFORT category The Dame nominates Cllr Danny Br'um Boy Moylan. At just £140,000, with expenses, he trails Pooter, but there could be more hidden benefits we are unaware of.
For all those naysayers and doom mongers the Dame says, "Let us celebrate"! We should be proud of 'our boys'

LGiU and CCLA are pleased to announce that the 2013 C’llr Achievement Awards are open for entries.
Now in their fourth year, the Awards are established as the only national ceremony that recognises and rewards the fantastic work of councillors from across the political spectrum.
There will be a total of 11 different awards on offer at the 2013 ceremony. These include the Age UK Award, the Judges’ Special Award for Contribution to Local Government and the Bruce-Lockhart Member Scholarship. The latter will be of particular interest as the winning councillor will be presented with a £10,000 bursary, supported by Kent, Essex, and East Sussex councils.

  1. no such award as "COUNCILLOR ACHIEVING THE BIGGEST ALLOWANCES AND EXPENSES IN THE UK" even in Private Eye - though the Leader of the Year Award is there - Sir Merrick should get that for his work on tri borough

  2. hahaahahaha
Pooter is never there: always at the LGA in the vain hope he will get his peerage there.

Your are such a twit Palmer....the Dame is pulling your leg!
