TELL THE IRANIANS TO PUT UP OR SHUT UP

RBK&C enjoyed a cosy relationship with the religious barbarians who run Iran.
Before getting booted out the ambassador had put in plans for a monstrous new embassy adjacent to the Grade 2 listed St Augustine's Church in Queensgate.

The Dame even heard that certain councillors were partaking of tea and sticky Persian pastries at the embassy.......

Oddly enough, the Ambassador managed to persuade Pooter Cockell not to allow residents to comment on the design for 'security reasons'...funny coming from a barbaric government, which tirelessly sponsors terrorism.
HOW THE IRANIANS DEAL WITH GAYS

Anyway, once top property journalist, Mira Bar-Hillel, found out Pooter rapidly backtracked.

This is the vile and hideous design that the Iranians wanted to inflict upon us.
Now here is the odd thing....much time has passed and yet the Iranians have not withdrawn their application.
MULLAH LITE
It is time Pooter and pals got over their reluctance to upset these people and told them to put up or shut up or withdraw their vile and tasteless design.

  2. It is time for the Council to put an end to this saga with a Compulsory Purchase Order. Cllr Ahern where are you?

  3. Cllr Holt is fully aware of the recommendations and concerns of his Residents Association and no doubt he has made these views known to Cllr Ahern

  4. It is time for the Council to start listening to the Chairperson of the South Kensington and Queens Gate Residents Association, Caryl Harris. She has her ear to the ground, is a tireless worker on behalf of her residents, has great domain knowledge about planning issues, and is waiting to be embraced by democracy. Cllr Ahern this is your opportunity (another one for heavens sake) to show your colours as a Leader. Get on with it man.

  5. The Iranian land on Queensgate is now a car park while decisions are made about its future. A huge eyesore. But also a nice little earner. A huge earner in fact. And the car park charges are not finding their way to the Government of Iran. If the Dame wants to understand the reasons for the protracted delays and haggling she needs to follow the money. Who is pocketing the proceeds and whose palms are being greased?
