MR COLIN HALL 'COHERES' HIS MATES AT HOLLAND PARK ACADEMY

No one can accuse the old Dame of being a nasty, vindictive old hag digging around in dustbins to find out the dirty little secrets of others.
COHERER IN CHIEF!
But, sometimes, those 'others' do her dirty work.
She had a look at Mr Hall's self promoting puffery and saw that he claims to 'cohere' a team.

The Dame has only an O level in floral arranging so had to look that one up.
Why can't he use language we all understand? Pretentious idiot....

Anyway, cutting to the chase...

The Dame has received an email making such defamatory remarks about the Academy's purchasing policy that she has had to pass it over to lawyers.
It may well be too 'hot' for her and if that's the case she will forward it to Mr Hislop and team at the Eye.

It's now a question of 'watch this space'

PS The Dame hears that cardigan wearing teachers give Mr Hall cardiac arrest.
So if you apply for a job don't wear the cardie.

  1. Is this related to contracts being handed to mates by a senior person within the school?
I am sure Mr Hall would put his foot down on this

  2. I hear he also 'coheres' with young male teaching assistants, but this may be too scandalous for the Dame.

Is it expense accounts? Do give us a clue Dame!

    1. A past Director of Education at the Town Hall was asking awkward questions about the Headmaster. The Hornton Street mafia got rid of her with a gagging order and £100k payoff.

But beware - Jackie is still around.......

    2. Jackie Griffiths had Colin Hall figured out from the word "go". But the Tory Mafia gave him powerful protection.

    3. Goodness me. The other person in the photo is Deputy Head David Chappell. Loves to take sensitive photos of final year students - displayed from time to time at the school courtesy of fawning Headmaster Hall. A truly cohered situation.

    4. 18:37 the wily Dame will not be drawn by your mischievous attempts to get her to 'spill the beans' after a very liquid staff Xmas lunch.
All she will say is this...
It is not a good idea for anyone, in a responsible position, to do business with friends.
And, on this subject, the Dame is pleased to report that in the years she has been lifting stones to see what lurks beneath she has never been the subject of litigation.
That may be because Ludo organised the ownership of her Nest in the Cook Islands: the only clever thing the hopeless child has ever did. The Cook Islands-for councillors and officers looking to tuck away the contents of brown envelopes-are the safest place to hide ill acquired gains.

  3. It must be RBKC's polluted air that breeds such weird characters. Nothing is ever as it seems. Behind K & C's staid Victorian facades lurk a multitude of corrupt practices and other scandals. One day the truth will out and the whole pack of cards will tumble.

    1. No it hasn't!! They lose over 60% of staff every year because they harass and bully them out. It is a horrendous place for staff and for the poor students who aren't as stupid as Colin thinks they are and can see straight through his horrid, nasty, racist behaviour.

  7. All Is Not What It Seems25 November 2015 at 13:08

All is not plain sailing at the new school. David Cameron AND the Secretary of State for Education visited but declined to send their children there. The school was careful to leak news of the visits. Leaking is endemic. The new £100 million swimming pool had to be closed and emptied because it leaked from the OUTSIDE.

All is not what it seems at the Chappell/Hall Academy

Leader Paget-Brown loves to make a splash in the North Kensington leisure pool according to his column in the K&C website.

If the pool at Holland Park School is ever filled again and opened to residents, as required by the planning consents, this will be an opportunity for Cllr Putin Colleridge (Cabinet Member for Planning) to strip off and dive in with a manly splash.

  9. The Headmaster has made it clear to the Board of Governors that he does not want residents on his premises, using the Sports facilities, and the school is under no obligation to do so because it is now an independent Academy.

Stuff the Council Tax payers who coughed up £100 million to build a new school

    1. Jackie Griffiths asked Colin Hall some straight questions which he declined to answer. The Headmaster was so frightened that he ran to the mafia boys in Hornton Street to ask for help. The mafia boys silenced Griffiths and got Hall off the hook.

    4. Nothing modern about sniggering school boys. Always has been the case and always will be the case. Hostages to hormones.

Student recordings of a Head Teacher and a lady teacher having it away in the Head Teachers study in Cornwall earlier this year demonstrated how frantic these school affairs can become.

Both teachers are now history lessons.

  14. Colin Hall has made a difference at the school. He has put the children in uniform, stopped them setting fire to parked cars in Campden Hill, stopped them abusing residents and property near the school, and is improving exam results. Much remains to be done. There is still a results gap with the best secondary schools in the Borough and Council Tax payers are still having to bear the cost of 20 special constables to patrol outside the school at opening and closing times when 14000 potentially unruly children are let loose on the public. Tesco in Nottinghill Gate still needs to restrict entrance to the store at 20 children at any onetime.

The new school brought early signs of delusion from Headmaster Hall. Designer chairs for the children (£300 each), expensive art installations (Anthony Gormley) and a fixation for young Oxbridge graduates to teach the sprogs. And over the top (way over the top) furnishings for the Headmaster's office and waiting room. Excessive and visible props of power.

Now he claims to be "chief coherer". Mutterings like this are clear signs of dangerous hubris and maybe the time has come for the Governors to make a plan.

    1. The Governors are stitched up and buttoned down. The Chairman (Ms Carrie) is the ex Director of Education from Hornton Street who was brought in to replace the muzzled Jackie Griffiths. In no time at all she was off the Council payroll and sucked in to become Col's Chair. Wheels within wheels, Tory style.

  15. Retired Chief Executive26 November 2015 at 07:52

I am mystified by the executive structure at the school. The website shows a Headmaster, an Associate Headmaster, five Deputy Heads and six Assistant Heads. Plus a Consultant.

At my old school there was a Headmaster, a bursar, Department Heads and Housemasters. And another layer of sports masters (cricket, rugby, gym, fencing, wall game etc) and special activities (drama, Cadets etc)

But times change and maybe I am out of touch

  16. HPS may be large, but surely it has 1,400 rather than 14,000 pupils. I attended a girls' only school in suburban London. We were not allowed on buses in the afternoons and the local sweet shop allowed in just 2 girls at a time. That was the '60s.The same rowdy girls are doubtless now highly respectable old ladies.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Grannie you are correct. Of course. The school has 1400 pupils (1336 to be exact). Not 14000 that I erroneously mentioned.

Rowdy girls often end up as respectable old ladies. Most of us are very tolerant and make allowances. But a situation had been reached when the students were literally setting fire to cars parked on Campden Hill, outside the school. And terrorising elderly pensioners in neighbouring streets.

Indulgence is all well and good but at some stage a line needs to be drawn.
