Taking a look at Cllr Isse's cv it seems she has two important jobs in Somalia.
Unless she is able to teleport herself it is difficult to see how she manages to be effective as a RBKC councillor.
Taxpayers suffer in two ways: having to fund her £13k a year allowance and not having her to do her job representing the people.
The Dame has terribly eyesight but cannot seem to see these two jobs in Mogadishu declared. Is that not something that Cllr Ali should be berating her for? Tribal politics?

Absolutely outrageous. No declaration either on the RBKC website. This is a breach of the 2011 localism act and she should resign immediately or face charges.
Is this what Starmer means when he talks of Labour Party stability. No thanks Kiery. If this can be allowed to happen in an inner london borough, it shows he hasn't got a handle on things.
The chairman of the Grenfell Tribunal was said to have described the Hornets Nest as a breath of fresh air: breaking these stories is vital for democracy. Well done, Dame
Emma Dent Coad tried to resist the appointment of the very capable and most excellent Sir Martin Moore Bick, the Grenfell Tower Inquiry Chairman, supposedly because residents asked her to do so. (Bloody nerve of her. Can you imagine someone issuing legal proceedings and expecting to choose the judge to hear the case. Just what did this pathetic socialist think she was doing?)
Dent Coad used residents as her justification for objecting to Sir Martin. The real reason was because Sir Martin was not as left wing as Dent Coad and Comrade Corbyn expected. As Sir Martin Moore Bick reads these pages, I hope the has got the goods on her and will be scathing about EDC inadequacies in the social housing forum in Kensington.
I think the Tribunal was very wise not to hear from Emma Dent Coad.
So how come she got the gig when she at time of selection was working in Mogadishu. It would seem the rules may have been broken in relation to the other candidates standing for this postion. Could the Kensington Labour Party be liable for litigation.
Many comment are racsist and no I ain't playing the racsist card. Cllr Ali is representing us Somalian people and Cllr Issie is doing help back home with our family there so its all ok. English people are very racist and don't like us coming here
You have Dent Coad to blame for the absence of Monica Press as a Ward Councillor. Ian Henderson was shafted by Dent Coad too. Dent Coad used her daughter to see Ian off. It was vicious of her to do that.
It is sincerely to be hoped that Joe Powell stays out of a situation he inherited and about which he is powerless to do anything about . It is to be hoped that London Region will finally do something to sort the 'sheep from the goats' . And that the Council itself enforces rules about attendance etc. very tightly . Perhaps they can start by removing some of the special allowances to which the shrunken Labour Group is no longer entitled to now that their numbers have shrunk by at least 3 ?
Removing. the councillors who don't do a thing would be best. That's half of who's left on the Labour side. They're not fit to serve another 3 years. Have by elections and a new wave of decent councillors come in. Good people willing to stand are easier to find now certain people and factions aren't running the CLP anymore.
The Labour Party sits and does nothing . Why. This is not good enough. You do nothing and we as the working class are watching you Joe Powell do nothing. You are no better than what we have now..
The midnight mumbler might want to sit down and have a read through the Hornet archives about EDC and the Kensington CLP to learn that Joe Powell was not responsible for orchestrating the selection of crap Labour councillors that we have at present.
It is clear that EDC's political behaviour, over many years, ranks her as one of the most throughly disliked Councillors who has ever served in our Royal Borough.

ReplyDeleteI think one of the Colville Councillors is currently running the office for the International Red Cross in Mogadishu. Thats a hellava commute.
ReplyDeleteObviously not the Colville Councillor who is currently 'unwell'
DeleteOur very own Jeffrey Bernard.
DeleteWhat a disgrace. Who knew ? Seems some resignations should be on the table. Is this what Ali meant by Kensington Sauce or what .
ReplyDeleteIs this a parody. I cant get my head around this. What happened to the local councillor bit ?
ReplyDeleteHow is it that this hasn't been declared ?

ReplyDeleteI don't think Starmer approves of EDC's choices of councillors

ReplyDeleteThe former KLP chair, Lari & EDC would have all known as would Ali
DeleteLooks like the Labour Party have some work to do then as this will not go unchallenged .

ReplyDeleteNo there isnt.
DeleteCllr Isse is Cllr in title only. Colville needs true councillors such as Monica Press who we miss very much.
