The million a year Council PR department told Dizzy to get up north and jig around so the locals would feel honoured by her presence.
Fortunately for her, the locals had no clue as to who she was.
Had they known she was a 'Cabinet Member(yes, pretentious) who signed off the Grenfell refurb she might have had to scurry for her life.
Were the Dame in any way complicit in the refurbishment of Grenfell she would have gone to Carnival with the Hornton Street security team!

DeleteSurely its a good thing that , at last RBKC Tories are taking an interest in Carnival? Previously they paid more attention to the Chelsea Flower show and Christmas Lights in Sloane Square! But will they now defend Carnival against the lying attack made upon it by the weird Tory Mayoral candidate for Mayor of London ?

ReplyDeleteEDC will probably join Reparations' Campaign and curry favour with Black voters that way.She will want to make amens for her racist past. No point going to Carnival to make amens.
