THE CONSERVATIVE 'NOTTING HILL SET' PARTY ON! LORD AND COUNCILLOR LADY CATHERINE FAULKS TO HOST SUPER SPREADER BASH

STOP PRESS
It seems This Is North Kensington has heard about the Bash. Let's hope the Northern Hordes don't descend on the Faulks demanding 'Cakes and Ale' and Political Party Bags

Dear Dame,
We know you like a good old 'knees up' but don't you think you should turn down the invite to the Campden Hill Conservative Party thrash at Lord & Cllr Lady Faulks Ladbroke Road mansion?
                                                                   A Political Hostess

After all, Mr Johnson wants us to avoid spreading the Omicron virus.
If it does go ahead-and it should never have been thought a good idea-please act with decorum.
No flirting with the waiting staff....pleaseeee

Kindest Thoughts
Lady ******s

  1. This is a joke surely? For the Conservatives to hold such an event whilst the government is trying to discourage this sort of thing is dysfunctional

In all seriousness I am sometimes horrified with what I read in the Hornet and wonder whether it should not be closed down. I then sit and think how delighted the Council would be if the Hornets Nest did not exist. We owe the Dame more than we can ever repay. She exposes rascals and their dirty doings. No wonder she is hated. Viva La Dame

And Earl's court Ward the night after, on the 10th with Hands, Buchan and Campbell

    1. I expect more responsible behaviour from my Member of Parliament, Felicity Buchan. dizzy Campbell is a long time lost cause - no surprise that this B rate groupie is cocking a snoot at the Chief Medical Officer for Great Britain and Northern Ireland

    2. I have lived in Chelsea since 1997. Hands is the worst Mp that we have ever had. Alan Clark, Michael Portillo and Malcolm Rifkind were much better. Hands is a Tory yes man, a pathetic creature whose morality is more like the stuff of English Public Schools.

Ooooh I do like members. Observer mentions them rather frequently

  5. This is quite unbelievable. The current administrations in Downing Street and Hornton Street are so divorced from public opinion, and bound up with their own self importance and parallel worlds, that their behaviour has become more than a joke. It is subversive. Thank goodness for a free press to expose this ongoing hypocrisy.

This exposure by the Dame will surely make the national press.

After the the Prime Minister's broadcast last night to the nation, why is Cabinet Minister Kwarteng still attending this function?

Why is Government Minister Hands doing the same at an Earls Court Conservative bash tomorrow night?

Why is Government whip Felicity Buchan attending a fund raising party for the RBKC Tories.

There is something seriously wrong here. All of these Tory politicians are waving two fingers at the advice from the Britain's Chief Medical Officer.

    "Control: we have a problem"

No one should be surprised that airhead Faulks is steaming ahead with a bash at home for a Cabinet Minister. Sold out and a waiting list. Plus the Ministerial car in Ladboke road.

      One up on the neighbours.

    2. "Pass The Sick Bag" should not forget that the middle class is desperate to show one upmanship. This sickness surpasses all other animal drives in that corner of society.

    1. What is "Central London Forward?"

There used to be something called London Councils that disgraced Cllr Pooter Cockle joined to further his political ambitions. Is dizzy doing a Pooter? We should be told

    2. The Dames Investigator9 December 2021 at 09:27

London Councils did Pooter no good. The Daily Mail found out that he put his fingers in the piggy bank to fund First Class flights to New York, limos and Five Star hotels, the RBKC Mayor's Bentley to Heathrow and weekend dinners for unknown persons. All to attend "Conferences".

Pooter phoned journalist Simon Heffer in a fury to complain about the Mail scoop (the miserable Councillor was in the final stages of his joining the House Of Lords campaign) but it was Sunday lunch time and Heffer told the bounder to "f**k off"

The idea of Lord and Cllr Lady Faulks inviting the Dame is quite ridiculous. The Faulks are true 'New Aristocrats' like Lord Moylan. The Dame is common, vulgar and low class. She would not have fitted in with the Notting Hill Set. It is very much time the old thing realised her place in the social order of things.

New Aristocrat = Nouveau Riche. How vulgar!

I hear that the Faulks' girl is a Cadbury heiress. Her ancestors were very decent people, Quakers and teatotal, I believe.

    2. Duchess, sadly so many of the old Quaker industrial class have lost the values that set aside that religion. Thank Goodness we have the likes of He Grace to gratify our snobbishness

  9. The social highlight of the year at the Reform Club is The Christmas Entertainment. Reception, dinner, Christmas carols. Black tie and carriages.

Within five minutes of the Prime Ministers Plan B announcement the Secretary of the Reform cancelled the event. Good to know that some institutions still behave in a responsible manner and have respect for society

  10. Kwasi Kwarteng is a young man in a hurry. Clever, lazy, and still awkward with his new position as a Cabinet Member. And politically inept too. In sucking up to Boris he has made a number of embarrassing statements in public referring to Johnson policy, which hastily had to be retracted because policy and the truth change by the minute.

Now Kwarteng has another test. Will the Etonian from Nigeria take his adrenaline rush by gracing the lower orders in Ladbroke Road with a Ministerial car arrival? Or will he do the right thing and cancel?

    We are watching you Minister.

    1. All correct but he is from Ghana

    2. Consider this Mr Kwartang. The events in Downing Street cast a dark shadow over our nation but they also shine a light on those who conspire against the truth and will go to any lengths to avoid it being told. How much has it cost to research and rehearse the avoidance of the truth? What is the cost of a ten day denial of "a party in Number 10"?

Keep out of the cesspit Mister.

    4. 9.46, its all tumbling out now. Shaun Bailey and his (failed) Mayor's campaign team had a drunken Christmas celebration at the same time in Downing Street. This surely puts paid to Boris's promise to Shaun of a peerage (according to the Times). The public would be incandescent if such an insult took place.

    6. Was Shaun Bailey, GLA Member for West Central London, at his Christmas Party bash in Downing Street during the lock down? Another Tory politician who thinks he is beyond the law?

      EDC should ask some questions.

    7. "Yes" is the answer. It is all in the Times today.

    9. I think you'll find that Emma vents her spleen on Sam Gymiah nowadays. Gymiah is the new villain of the piece.

      Delete
    10. True. EDC thinks Gymiah cost her the 2019 General Election and her ire is reserved for him. Silly of her to put her defeat down to monocausality. There is no one cause of anything but a multiplicity of factors. Scientific analysis is not her strong point.

      Delete
    11. Science? What do you expect from a writer of books on architecture.

Agree with you that her defeat was multi factoral. People did not want Corbyn and EDC knows that. His values, his profligacy, the Labour Party's social engineering.

Black people did not like Emma's racism towards Shaun Bailey.

      Delete
    12. Corbyn is pro Black but anti-jewish. Emma insulted Shaun Bailey and endorsed a tweet with an anti-jewish trope. Gymiah is not the sole cause of her defeat. Racism would have been in a lot of people's minds when voting Lib Dem for a Black candidate with no racist baggage.

If the "Lady" was in fact a Lady, she would do the right thing and not embarrass her guests by forcing them to take personal decisions of "to show, or not to show". In the social hierarchy of RBKC these will be agonising decisions for everyone who has paid £45 to rub shoulders with an arriviste Minister at a newly ennobled pad in Ladbroke Road. The social and political upward thrust in Kensington could put an elephant on the moon.

Cllr Faulks, cancel your party, save some money, and save your guests having to make uncomfortable decisions
