It is astonishing The Workary has been given Carte Blanche by RBK&C to wipe out a competitor.
For a Business Rates paying business to be put out of business by a competitor given a 'sweetheart' deal by the Council sounds like a case for the Local Government Ombudsman.
An appeal will get nowhere with the Cllr Mona Rossi in the Chair. She will twitch and ask dizzy what to do. dizzy will ask Cllr False what to do. We all know where this leads to.

ReplyDeleteCllr False has promoted, and continues to promote, projects that waste Council Tax and make a mockery of economic responsibility. Rate rebates for Fletcher's Wokary offices (is he a special friend?) distorts the market and drives others out of the market. High Street benches (£3k each) clutter up busy pavements and create hazards for pedestrians, cyclists and scooters. This person is a public menace

ReplyDeleteThis whole sorry story is one of many abuses of Council Tax and the failure of Public Administration in RBKC. There are many complicit actors such as Faulks, Quirk, Weale and Rossi in what continues as a rotten culture from the days of the late Cllr Cockell.
