WILLIS TOWERS WATSON REJECTING ALL FLOOD CLAIMS AGAINST THAMES WATER

If your lives and livelihoods have been wrecked by Thames Water the Dame has more bad news.

At the Scrutiny meeting at the Town Hall clumsily handled by Cllr Rossi( the Dame was astonished to see this lady is picking up an allowance of close to £30,000 a year-who said councils were strapped for cash!) victims were handed out claim forms.

It now transpires that Thames Water's broker is rejecting all claims on the basis that there was no negligence.

So, Thames Water was cynically misleading victims and Willis Towers Watson is claiming the Independent Review's remit will not cover potential negligence.

What a waste of everybody's time.

  1. Willis Towers may well be arguing that Thames Water, its client, has not been Negligent. Well to quote Mandy Rice Davis, "they would say that wouldn't they."

Willis Towers are expressing an opinion on behalf of its paymaster Thames Water - hoping to influence those of who have suffered losses. Nothing more, nothing less.

ANYONE WHO HAS SUFFERED LOSSES should take their own legal advice as to whether Thames Water has been Negligent. Thames Water Plc owes a duty of care in certain circumstances and if that duty has been breached and people have suffered losses, then that amounts to Negligence.

Legal Advice is expensive. Many home insurance contents' policies provide legal expenses' cover. It may be possible for those who have suffered losses to club together to obtain Counsel's opinion on thames Water's liability and find a way forward to seek justice.
