I have to say reading reports it is astonishing that this psychopath was allowed to remain as a serving officer especially a heavily armed one. It is clear that colleagues understood he was not normal. Are not armed police not give periodic mental checks?If not why not. This poor girl's life might have been saved if he had not had his warrant card to show when he waylaid her.
