The Dame is from an era when the security services positively vetted known and suspected communists. The sensible assumption was allegiances might lay with foreign powers.
We have no idea what sensitive information she has access to especially as the armed forces now work alongside SAGE.
Her Stalin apologist ex-husband joined the Communist Party at the age of eighteen and recently worked for Mr Corbyn. He and Comrade Mitchie are still on good terms.
No one accuses this rich, aristocratic duo of malicious intentions but it is fair and reasonable to ask whether Comrade Mitchie, a highly active communist, has been cleared at the highest levels.
If not....why not...or has the Dame read too much Le Carre?
