A FAMOUS VICTORY AND A 'CLARION CALL' TO OTHERS FIGHTING DEVELOPERS

Cllr Ian Henderson is the sort of Highland warrior you want in a tight corner.
He and Andrew Barshall fought long, hard and alone to drive Affinity Sutton out of their trenches.

Many thought it impossible to defeat what was in effect a property developer but Ian and Andrew led the residents in such a battle that Clarion admitted defeat and agreed to do what always should have been done and upgraded this much loved Chelsea landmark.

  1. POWER TO THE PEOPLE!

WELL DONE TO ALL THOSE GOOD PEOPLE OF RBKC LED TO VICTORY BY CLLR IAN HENDERSON AND ANDREW BARSHALL

THEY SHOULD RECEIVE A GONG FOR THEIR WORK AND LEADERSHIP.

TALK ABOUT U-TURN FOR CLARION - THAT SUMMARY LETTER IS ABSOLUTELY NOT WHAT THEY WANTED.

    SWEET VICTORY!

  2. Hats off to Ian Henderson and Andrew Barshall for standing up for social housing tenants. To quote Lord Justice Sedley,

"It is one of the glories of this Country when one of its citizens
secures a victory against the battalions of government or
    commerce."

Two such people are Ian Henderson and Andrew Barshall.

Councillors and Members of Parliament in Kensington and Chelsea would do well to emulate Andrew and Ian's outstanding achievements.

  3. Thank God for people like Barshall and Henderson. Standing up for what is right and proper, which is sadly missing from today's politics !

    1. If only a few other Kensington and Chelsea politicians had opened their mouths about the disastrous TMO, things might have been different. It's a pity these politicians, Labour and Tory, did not listen.

    2. I remember when Henderson, Barshall, and Schulmi tried to get elected as independent councillors. Their election leaflets promised to take on the Kensington and Chelsea TMO. The Tory Lib Dem and Labour Councillors who had been on the Council for frigging years did not make a similar commitment.

  5. These two should be knighted, the most positive campaigners who turned around what was an awful situation. Three Cheers

  6. Thanks from the Samuel Lewis as well , if the Sutton had gone so would we . Thanks to the SOS Campaign we are now included in the Chelsea Conservation area. How do we vote for these two ?

  7. Well if 'Sir' Keith Exford got a gong and a payoff for trying to knock the place down , surely these two should be honoured for keeping it up. These two have shown that there are good people out there, to ignore this achievement would be folly.

  8. Kensington up for grabs with a Labour majority of just 20 votes19 November 2019 at 07:02

The Workers' Revolutionary Party are standing in Kensington. The WRP are proper socialists, Trotskyite Marxists, unlike the fake imposters in Labour. The WRP will split the Labour vote. The Lib Dems in a strong Remain constituency will pick up Tory and Labour Remainers. The Brexit Party will split Tory leave voters.

    1. A couple of these WRP fellows came around to my 'hood. They stank to high heaven and looked like a couple of losers with idiotic pamphlets. I set the bull mastiffs on them who sent them on their way....bloody stinkers

  9. The thing about this Campaign was the way they managed to reach out across all social strata in Chelsea. Standing up for social justice for all the right reasons . A gong definitely.
