It's always been difficult to see the point of this idiotic woman and her slur on the brave firemen who help us in so many ways is unforgivable.....and many are black....
Her racist comment is so blatant that the Labour Party and the House of Lords should be putting her through a disciplinary process.
This won't happen despite thirty-five thousand Londoners signing a petition demanding she apologise: the likes of the racist Lawrence are a protected species.
Lawrence is the best reason for radically reforming the useless House of Lords.
Think of it....Lawrence gets £300 tax-free for turning up to the Lords....or £40,000 net a year.
Compare that to what we pay a fireman for risking his life to save others.
The woman has no shame. Every day our fireman do unthinkably brave things for all of us

ReplyDeleteHow right you are about Doreen Lawrence's reactionary and grossly offensive comments. The firefighters who attended at Grenfell Tower on that dreadful night did an outstanding job. Their consideration was saving lives; nothing else. The social constructs of "race" and "racism" was not in their contemplation. Doreen Lawrence should be subject to the full rigour of disciplinary action by the Labour Party for her outrageous comments. A racist remark is a racist remark regardless of who utters it - that is regardless of the race, ethnicity or religion of the ignoramus making it.
Why can't we move away with the left wing obsession about the colour of people's skin, their ethnicity or their religious beliefs. We should talk about people's qualities, their good and bad points.
The gratitude of every one in this Country is every Firefighters' due.

ReplyDeleteAs Baroness Lawrence is an expert on racism, why did she not call out the racism from her sneering socialist mate, Emma Dent Coad MP.
ReplyDeleteMs Dent Coad drew a picture of Shaun Bailey, a Black Tory, hanging on a gallows. She then published that hateful sketch on the internet and said that she should have put that drawing in quotation marks because it was drawn by someone else, oh please.............
The leaders of LBHF & RBK&C need to roundly condemn this crass and insensitive woman.
ReplyDeleteIt is despicable of Doreen Lawrence to use Grenfell to suggest that Fire Brigade personnel would have mounted a better rescue operation if the majority of residents had been white.
ReplyDeleteBDL obviously has no filter, easy pickings to try to stay relevant - utter DISGRACE and a good reason to become instantly irrelevant. No reason for BDL to ever utter another word, she has said it all, no excuses!

DeleteBy suggesting that the Fire Brigade would have got people out quicker if they had been white, Doreen Lawrence is now claiming that the Fire Brigade is "institutionally racist" (according to the MacPherson definition) As she has not presented any evidence to support her vile claim, I question her motives in making this claim. Is she trying to stir up racial tensions.

ReplyDeleteI am a Firefighter. The Fire Brigade does not discriminate against anyone because fires do not discriminate. Mrs Lawrence has got her head up her backside.
ReplyDeleteMay be RBKC should hold the plan to install sprinklers in the tower blocks. One of those in the flats, we can ditch the fire alarm too.
