ReplyDeleteCllr Palmer...That will not happen...hilarious though the sight of Danny Boys all dressed up would be. Incidentally, how does the Dame identify you? Because he's your 'freind' and we all know you have difficulties with spelling and basic grammar!

For some inexplicable reason, Cllr Palmer is held in high esteem by the K&C Conservative Association Office.

DeleteThis is true to an extent. The last Chairman of the Association, Cllr Mills, was exceptionally close to Palmer. However the current Chairman, Andrew Foster, does not share the enthusiasm. In fact he despises Palmer.
DeletePalmer is chums with ex Cllr Moylan. When Palmer lost his seat in North Kensington (Tory and Labour residents breathed a huge sigh of relief) Cllr Moylan moved heaven and earth to get Palmer adopted by Queensgate Ward. Palmer's election was extremely divisive and he was elected by one vote, the Chairman's casting vote. True to form, the two hate and nasty Councillors had a field day.
Queensgate residents are still suffering.
