SOME GOOD AND NEWS AND EVEN BETTER NEWS

The Dame is politically ambivalent but woke up this morning with some good news.
After twenty years sucking on the teat of the EU Tannock had been kicked out.
Yes, the Dame knows it's not 'comme il faut' to kick a man when he's down but this is a man who claimed to be ashamed of being British and dashed off to get an Irish passport.
It was the old Dame who tipped off the Insight Team on the Sunday Times that the Doc had 'prescribed' himself four hundred thousand share options with a fracking company.
Fortunately, the company, 3 Legs Plc went bust so the Doc was never able to cash in. However, he did get a 'knighthood'(seen below) from some Ukranian president!

Whatever made the ex psychiatrist think he didn't need to declare his options? He needed his head seen to....

Tannock was seen off by Ben Habib.
The Dame hears that Habib, a modest and unassuming individual, was the finance director of a listed company at the tender age of twenty-three and went on to launch a listed property company with assets throughout Europe.
Habib..talented!

  3. Dame, all those familiar with this blog know by now that you have a longstanding axe to grind with Tannock. I stopped by to see if you would be tacky enough to put up a gloating post over the man losing his seat. And so you were!

Isn't the bigger story that that the Liberal-Democrats won the vote in the Royal Borough? Here are the totals in case anyone is wondering how RBKC voted (rounded to the nearest percentage):

    Lib Dem 36%
    Brexit Party 17%
    Labour Party 14%
    Conservative Party 13%
    Green Party 9%
    Change UK 7%
    UKIP 1%
    Animal Welfare Party 1%
    Women's Equality Party 1%

  4. Oh, spare the Dame your faux sympathy for a man who lied at the Chiswick Hustings and denied ever having been involved in fracking company.
As for the Lib Dems: heed this. It was the foolish old ballroom dancer, Cable who proposed a Mansion Tax which would have decimated those in the RB with property worth over £2m. A vote for the Lib Dems is risking its 16 year old leader, Jo Swinson, becoming PM....hilarious though the thought is!
