Was it because Stallwood didn't like having a woman above him as a boss? Sue Harris was given feedback from residents on his less than impartial performance at major Planning committees
Surprised he stayed so long. Lots of heat from residents and he was only building his CV at RBKC. Expected him to move on sooner. The Hornton Street job was a big promotion for him. He was in position as a junior and a dreadful list of external candidates. Right place, right time for our Mr Stallwood
Stallwod has done well. Delayed his departure long enough for the Grenfell furor to die down (all things, good and bad, pass) and is now out of the Hornton Street cesspit
Sounds like Stallwood is history. The Dame needs to focus on the replacement plan and find out who is in the frame to take over.
What is the brief from dizzy? What kind of planning Director is she looking for? Has she listened to residents and understood that we are not prepared to be bulldozed anymore?
Dizzy needs a technically competent Planning Director and a strong Planning Committee comprised of Councillors who are in touch with resident opinion, take time to study and understand planning proposals, and have the ability to exercise political judgement.
Would KTS Deputy Leader and Lead Member for Housing and Property have been tasked with recommending and signing off bonuses for his Housing Management staff?
The fragrant Jonathan Fraser-Howells also moved to the West Country (remember him?). Can the Stallwood move be a coincidence? Or is there something more?

Didn't he do well on the greasy pole?
ReplyDeleteAnd he wisely shaved off the dreadful "Hitler" mustache

DeleteLeaving behind a trail of mismanaged planning blight - is he sailing away with bonus and gold plated pension pot? FOI
ReplyDeleteVery likely? See if they can do this, why not for Stallwod?

How is this possible KTS?

ReplyDeleteK-T-S is exhibiting a most unpleasant and unprofessional side, far too grand for the plebeians of R-B-K-C, it looks live divide and rule AGAIN.

ReplyDeleteWe should be told
May be there is a pot of gold in the West Country if that's where they are all heading. Try their luck there...so to speak.
DeleteOut of sight, but not out of mind. Should any "sins" come to light at a later date Bristol is but a spitting distance away.
