MEMORIALISING BAD MEN

Nicholas Freeman Memorial Trust

Nicholas Freeman was a one time leader of RBKC.
Today, this seedy man would probably be in prison.
Freeman needed to raise money to build the monstrous carbuncle in Hornton St so over a weekend-before an injunction could be put in place-he ordered the destruction of the magnificently beautiful Victorian old Town Hall in Kensington High Street.
Were he alive today Freeman would have loosed the wrecking ball on the now vandalised Art Deco Odeon in the High St

The councillors at the time decided this grotesque man was worthy of a memorial.

The below should be the only memorial to this odious, creepy crook.

The Old Town Hall destroyed in a day by a one time leader

  2. What a shame they don't do the same dodgy demolition to the current town hall, just make sure its when the current cabinet is sitting.
