Low and behold.... many of the exact same Cllr, Officers, even Council leaders end up working for the developer such as Lendlease or the lobbyist such Four Communications... Another Lobbyist to entertain Cllr Rock F-M and his zany ideas to wipe North Kensington of the map, 'the north is the new south', is Localis...
Localis is a weird lobby- again seeking, between the softly worded lines, to end civic housing or accountable planning.
Locals 'the housing disrupter' policy lobby Chair is none other than?... Sir Merrick Cockell....
Kensington and Chelsea have the highest land values in the UK and profits from development are humongous. And of course these profits are often created by the signature of the Planning Committee and Officers who can turn worthless land into development land. For example, the worthless Holland Park School Playground was rezoned by Officers and Planning Councillors and suddenly became worth £100 million to the developers who bought it for buy to leave. All it took was a signature.
In these circumstances trash like Bingle will be in overdrive and working the patch with the likes of Fielding-Mellen and Moylan. And from whatever quarter, the brown envelopes are stuffed.
On the subject of Terrapin. There's also the Centre For London, industry paid for policy lobbyists, that often pairs at conferencces Cllr RFM with Harringey Leader (Labour). Cllr Clare Kober. Kober just hived off £2billion housing stock to Lendlease, a Terrapin client.

This may be the most significant story the Dame has yet brought to light. She has discovered the nature of the pile of sh*t that is RBKC. We have all long known of its existence, but It took the fallout from the Grenfell fire to set the scene. This provides a first glimpse of the stark reality. There will be more. Far more.
The Met police is investigating an extraordinary hundreds of firms and tens of millions of documents in relation to the fire. Here are connections between all the major players in recent years. Councillors, lobbyists, developers, brown envelopes, RBKC property and planning departments all come together at Grenfell.
It's said the cladding was installed to make Grenfell more visually acceptable to new residents of the local Westfield and BBC flats. From municipal corruption to social cleansing, to corporate manslaughter. This is deep, dark stuff.
I hope Mr Bingle of Terrapin will be investigated and put in jail too. He is just the sort, like Rocky, who had it so good but nothing lasts forever. Their time has come.
