First we hear that Cllr 'Silly Lizzy' Campbell has taken a sabbatical to run the America's Cup, and now, bored with that, has decided to become leader!

Those who have followed the councillor's career will see her for being the dud she is.
Her stupidity knows no bounds. When asked how the £100 million cost of Holland Park School could be justified she said it cost nothing as it was paid for by the sale of of playing fields!
Even when explained that it still cost taxpayers £100 million a look of blank incomprehension came over her face.
Her inability to control officers was made blatantly obvious in the chronic mishandling of the special needs children's transport.
What a disaster that was....
When the Dame was researching this duffer she found that Cllr Campbell had persuaded Google to remove one very funny story about her personal spending.
The story was that Mr. Campbell took the scissors to Silly Lizzy's credit card!
Sharp eyed readers should see if she manages to take this down.

ReplyDeleteApart from Cllr Freeman, it seems there is no-one qualified to lead RBKC. This is the result of decades of excluding everyone of intelligence, integrity, competence or humanity from RBKC's toxic inner circle. If, at this time of catastrophe, one of the usual suspects is promoted to lead, RBKC will collapse within months. Then the UK's supposedly most prestigious local authority must be taken over by government Commissioners. The Tory Government's dread of taking such radical action is the sole reason it's not already occurred. Such action is the ultimate proof that years of cuts and lowering of traditional standards has finally done for UK local government. Self-serving cliques of like-minded white, males are a total failure. They result in dead residents. The only possible cure is a return to the old, open system of committees and committee chairmen coming together to run a Council. Action is needed not just in the Rotten Borough, but thought the UK. Otherwise, we're lost. Anyone but Moylan.

ReplyDeleteVicky Beckham or 'Lady Becks' as she would love to be called, is perhaps as 'bright' as Campbell. At least, we will get bit of 'celeb' feeling....
