QUIET DOWN, CLLR MOYLAN

The Dame is not Councillor Daniel Moylan's spiritual adviser: she leaves that to other, more stalwart, types.

However, she reminds him of the wickedness of envy....

She understands that Danny has been bitching-to anyone who will listen-of his fury about Cllr Faulks and her elevation to the Cabinet.

Daniel, please stop. It's most unedifying.
It was decided, for the very best of reasons, that your talents were best confined to matters architectural.
Stick to your last and let the youngsters have a chance.

Old folk, like you and the dear old Dame, need to stand aside for the next generation.

  1. Cllr Moylan has got this one absolutely right. The Ward Councillors in Norland and Campden also think she is a basket case.

Maybe I could be permitted to say how I find Catherine as one of her fellow Ward Councillors as opposed to someone who writes untruthful and unpleasant comments under the cowardly veil of anonymity. Catherine is kind, compassionate, intelligent and hard working. I am delighted that she is one of my fellow Ward Councillors.

Cllr Moylan always says it as it is. No chance to misunderstand.

    2. It's long been anyone but Moylan. Quite right too. He's an arrogant bully, unable to work with anyone else.

  4. It's a pity Cllr Freeman was never included in Cabinet....a distinguished lawyer; a man of great judgement and admired and liked by all councillors.
Instead his talents have never been utilised. It's an utter disgrace.

    2. If you knew Robert Freeman you would know how senseless and puerile your comment is. There is no one more self effacing than Robert Freeman.....

  8. Private Eye today two page spread on Grenfell & favourable mention of Rock Fielding Mellen his mate Peter Bingle & Derek Myers.

We do not see enough about K&C in PE is that because the editor fears he might not get planning permission for any of his future developments?

  9. A nightmare situation for the Holland Park badgers would be if Cllr Moylan decided to share the sette.

    1. Mr Mole: Badgers are very territorial, so should Cllr Moylan ever try to interfere with out obviously LUXURIOUS, what else, sette, with cascading waterfall nearby, he will be fought off with vigor - not to be forgotten easily....so Cllr don't even think of it....

  10. Dodgy council keeping out Grenfell residents out of meeting this afternoon and tried to keep out media, now meeting has begun and been cancelled.

Time for local bi election now!!

    1. Exactly... the 'closed' meeting would have produced a legally watertight statement, which with the press present would be impossible - hence the adjournment. Allegedly, because press' presence might be prejudicial to the inquiry. Have we not heard this excuse somewhere before, dear readers?
An arrogant smirk passed over N P-G's mug when Tim Donovan asked him whether he should resign? What? Resign? The whole sycophantic brown-nosing lot would have to go with him... All of them very concerned about the damage to P-G's office rather than the Grenfell dead. By election? Is there such a thing?

  13. Moylan has just appeared on BBC TV News, to stab NPB in the back. Full of fake sorrow and shame. Claiming he had nothing to do with the Grenfell catastrophe. The most nauseating exhibition of hypocrisy ever seen in British public life. Moylan is attempting to present himself as an "acceptable" alternative to Paget Brown. As much as one is furious at the failures current leadership, Moylan must be rejected. He must be made to crawl back under his stone. We need fresh faces, not the return of the disgraced old order.
