BURYING BAD NEWS...... THE AFFINITY SUTTON WAY

CLICK TO READ EXFORD'S RUBBISH
You have to hand it to Keith Exford, the £270,000 a year property manager at Affinity Sutton.
AXFORD

Just when everybody is thinking of the poor souls in Grenfell Tower Keith decides to sneak this out.
What a sad plonker!

  1. Keith Axford is a moron who has zero awareness of public opinion and has a mental block when the opinion of residents is given. Consultation is not a word that he understands. His £270k per year tells him to use a bulldozer to get his way. His presence in society is counterproductive and destructive.

  2. It seems the powers that be didn't listen to the Grenfell residents - and the result has been appalling. Residents of the William Sutton Estate in Chelsea have overwhelmingly voted to keep their solidly built blocks of flats, but Affinity Sutton (now called Clarion), despite their name don't seem able to hear.

  3. The Sutton Estate currently has 200 empty properties lying idle. When Affinity Sutton / Clarion made their planning application they cleared out all short term tenants in these blocks A to D , in the belief their application would be successful. It was turned down . In the interim they sent workmen in to smash sinks, cut electricity, cut the water supply , even though some residents were still in there with their children ( Vesna Vukovic ), so they could claim the properties were 'void'. I spent the last two days helping people at Grenfell, looking for missing people of my friends, comforting my friends who escaped with their lives . Today Nick Paget Brown claimed that the reason sprinklers were not installed was due to residents not wanting them , can he please provide evidence of this . I texted one of the distraught residents this morning who has been unable to deal with phone calls etc as he is dealing with his emotions and the fact he nearly lost his life . No one else on his floor survived. He summoned the strength to call me as he was livid - he felt that NPB was trying to blame the victims and he asked me to 'ASK NICK ' where the evidence was that residents had turned down sprinklers ( Dame i am calling on you to ask this question ) I could not find the Mother and 3 Children who i was looking for - they are still missing . I returned home yesterday to find the above leaflet from Affinity Sutton and i wept . The continual assault and denigration of social housing tenants has to stop. We are not 'troublemakers ' we are concerned citizens and need to be treated as such . For Affinity Sutton to inform residents that they will appeal a planning decision that will reduce Social Housing in the Borough at a time when the people from Grenfell Towers are homeless beggars belief . I did write to the council back in November asking them to serve Affinity Sutton with a Section 215 to bring the dilapidated blocks back into use .All Ward Councillors were copied in as was all the planning Committee and Graham Stallwood. If people are wondering why social housing residents of The Royal Borough are angry well look at your TV or the internet .

    1. Sir Keith Exford has to have his Knighthood removed and he has to be sacked . Where are the non Exec Directors of Clarion - they are failing in their fiduciary duties

  4. Does anyone in 'housing ' actually care about the job they do?

    1. The staff I've worked alongside in the last two days have shown a great deal of care in trying to accommodate residents. Yes it's been chaotic, yes mistakes have been made, but they've been trying fucking hard.

  5. Nah - they are only in it to socially cleanse areas and estates so they can make a large profit for their investors.

  6. This is God's sent for RBKC. They can declare the tower unsafe, demolish it and start afresh with the customary luxury development, pushing the Grenfell victims not only out of the Borough, but also outside Greater London.
We were astonished at the large number of people on Housing List and in Temporary accommodation, whilst there are literally towers full of empty flats(sorry luxury apartments) laying vacant. These were never meant to be occupied. Now a serious action is needed.
Oh, we are not lawyers, but apparently on an INQUEST will start the proper process, no such pre-determined Inquiry.
