THE DAME DEMANDS THE HEAD OF CLLR SILLY LIZZIE CAMPBELL

Who was responsible for appointing the ghastly little Milton Keynes solicitor, Mark Small, to represent the Royal Borough?

Small man:Crassly Stupid
One only has to take a look at him to see what a dreadful oik he is.
That dreadful hairstyle and shapeless, characterless face....

Someone needs to take the rap and the Dame senses that it's Cllr E Campbell(not the first class B. Campbell)
Just Stupid

LIzzie Campbell is just remarkably stupid.
A notably inane comment was to suggest Holland Park School cost taxpayers nothing!

With that sort of financial savvy small wonder long-suffering Mr. Campbell took away her bank cards: evidently her 'extravagance knew no bounds"

Her mismanagement of the transport for the vulnerable was just epic.
So, can someone who knows, tell the Dame whether this foolish woman had anything to do with appointing the nasty little Small man.

  2. Lizzie Silly describes this Councillor perfectly. An inept, self serving, toad

    1. The woman is accident prone. A political disaster. Ballast

  3. Sad, none of the local rags will pick up on this

  4. She will just have rubber stamped the decision from the not-lamented Andrew Christie, the man responsible for the special needs transport mess.

  5. Various local authorities are beating a hasty retreat from Baker Small. RBKC should follow suit immediately. Glad to see the nauseating lawyer/firm involved has been referred to the Solicitors Regulation Authority, let's hope disciplinary proceedings result. 1. I understand Tri-Borough has dispensed with the services of this firm.

    2. Another triumph for the Dame

  6. The issue that is missed by all is that this Borough employed this dreadful man and his company. He was doing what they asked of him, they are his paymasters. It is another example of standards being lowered to meet the Tri Borough Agenda, which none of the residents voted for.

  7. This Cabinet portfolio needs serious, committed and vigorous Leadership. With K&C punching above its weight in the tri Borough mess. Cllr Elizabeth Campbell is not this person.

It is high time for Cllr Paget-Brown to carry out a mini shuffle. If he cannot find the quality in the Tory pack then he could do worse than Cllr Dent Coade.

Substituting Cllr Elizabeth Campbell with EDC would be a brave, imaginative, and thoroughly good thing for the residents of the Royal Borough. If Cllr Paget-Brown is a man of vision, he would do so.

  9. Scribe and 'We Too' - thank you for cheering up a wet and miserable Monday morning, at a terrible time for all politicians.

I can't imagine Cllr P-B offering me a position of any kind, let alone a senior position. He won't even lower himself to acknowledge - let alone answer - my entirely polite emails requesting information to which I am entitled.

But I'll take your suggestion as a compliment, thank you again.

It is time for the Chairman of the K&C Conservative Association, Cllr Julie Mills, to take Cllr Paget-Brown to one side and urge him to consider a "refresh" of his Cabinet. Residents are clamouring for this. Rock and Liz are two major embarrassments, just in case this needs to be pointed out AGAIN.

When Julie takes an interest, things happen. For example her "pash" Shaun Bailey is now a Member of The London Assembly. These things do not happen by accident

  11. Ex Conservative Cllr20 June 2016 at 11:38

In days past, before the over politicisation of local government, talent like Dent Coad would be properly used. But, then again, look at Robert Freeman. One of the most brilliant of councillors never effectively used because of Cockell's jealousy.
What a waste of two significant brains.

  12. Ever since the Hornet started seven years ago the blog has become an essential Pit Stop for the media and those in the K&C Bubble. The climate of opinion in the Royal Borough has been powerfully influenced by the hornets and many of the Dame's campaigns have resulted in major change. For example Cllrs Cockell and Phelps became "disgraced ex Councillors".

Cllr Moylan and Cllr Dent Coade have fearlessly blogged in their own names. Like them or loathe them, you know exactly where you are with these two. The Labour Councillors appear to be the braver of the two major parties and regularly blog openly. Cllr Blakeman and ex Cllr Todd Foreman are examples.

We know that Councillors and Officers devote many hours to the Hornet website. Keen observers of the Hornton Street scene recognise clearly the style behind some of the cloaks. Cllr Freeman is a dedicated reader and blogger (aka "Sad Badger"). Disgraced ex Cllr Cockell and disgraced ex Cllr Phelps are regular contributors with their feeble efforts to obfuscate and cloud their wrongdoings. Cllr Coleridge has a unique style of grammar and spelling and hates being attacked. And a compulsive contributor, in various disguises (eg "Up Yours") is the manic Cllr Palmer.

On occasion Justin Downes and Donald Cameron will spell it out when levels of dishonesty from the Rotten Borough reach high fives.

Officers are more timid but just occasionally a whistle blower will spill the beans eg the true cost of tax payer subsidy to Holland Park Opera which the Council had disguised and concealed for many years.

We know that Cllr Paget-Brown requires regular briefing from his staff about what the Dame is up to. Instead of replying directly, and exposing himself to scrutiny in the Hornet blog, piggy regularly carps against the Dame "and her trolls" in his own blog on the Council website. Which nobody reads.

References to the Hornets Nest are frequent in Council Debates and "piggy" and "Pooter" are now part of the common language in the Royal Borough. A modern, important, and exciting contribution to our democratic process.

    1. Observer well said. The Dame does not get enough praise for what she highlights on her gem of a blog.

What the Dame has managed to do is unite residents but highlight that they are not alone, so many of us have been victims of the council and their misdeeds and the Hornet has been the place to vent and find out what the council are up to when they try and sneak out dodgy deals and news without the prying eyes of the council tax payers.

We owe a debt to the Dame and her blog, three cheers for the Dame, & a G&T. Gawd luv her!
