The Grenfell Action Group have started a petition asking for a thorough and independent investigation of the TMO who have made tenants and leaseholders lives a misery in RBKC for many years.
It would mean a great deal to us if the Dame was able to support this PETITION on her most excellent blog.
Their collusion with RBKC is detrimental to the wellbeing of TMO residents.
I very much like your last blog praising Cllr Makover.
He was the only Tory Cllr who showed any real sympathy and concern to the plight of Grenfell Tower residents when we appeared before the Scrutiny Committee earlier in the year.

ReplyDeleteWould Councillor Mackover be surprised to learn that the TMO employs an Improvement Manager - nothing improves or changes at the TMO.
ReplyDeleteThe TMO are nothing but a bunch of corrupt, incompetent freaks. Not one of their so called Managers could get employment with any other Housing Association. They would be laughed out of the door.

I've heard it said that the public sector can't afford to pay the salaries to attract the best people to apply for its jobs. I have just found out how much Robert Black and other TMO Directors are paid. Their salaries compare favourably with similar level positions in the private sector. However, in the private sector people who whose work is poor are shown the door. At the TMO they get gold plated pensions.

DeleteIt would be good to know the name of the TMO person who was asked to leave their previous job. I bet they did not put on their TMO Application Form reason for leaving- asked to leave or get sacked.

DeleteThere are only 5 signatures on the petition on the Council website. It needs 1500 to go to the Council meeting. You should also put it on change.org.

ReplyDeleteRobert Black would have us all believe that corruption at the TMO is a thing of the past. An unpleasant reminder of former management teams. 04.20 has evidence of corruption in the parking arrangements. Others have evidence of goings on in gardening.
