HE SHALL HAVE CONTROVERSY WHEREVER HE GOES

'Rock Feilding', is pushing land belonging to his step-father, the eccentric Earl of Wemys.
STEP-POP

The local peasantry want nothing to do with this despoilation of farmland and have told Rock in no uncertain terms.
This led to another of Rock's famous tantrums.

To prove his 'man of the people' credentials to the bolshie Lowland Scotties Rock has dropped off the Mellen.
STEP-SON

From the local rag....

"CONTROVERSIAL plans for 450 homes on the southern side of Longniddry’s railway station have been put forward to East Lothian Council.
Proposals are being drawn up for a range of house types and tenure options, along with space for shops, small offices, allotments, green spaces and community orchards.
Rock Feilding, from Socially Conscious Capital, said: “We are delighted to be presenting these proposals for delivering new development in Longniddry."

The Dame likes the idea of the allotments and the bucolic 'Community Orchards', but where will the half-timbered Tudor styled 'manor house' be sited?

The Dame is interested in a story that RFM may have long standing connection with a firm of architects working on regeneration plans in the Rotten Borough.

We should be told....

  1. Hole in the Head Rock Fielding (aka Fielding-Mellen) is an embarrassment to the Conservative Party as a Royal Borough councillor. To be Deputy Leader too diminishes the authority and status of the ruling party.

The boy should be put out to grass (no pun intended) and given a cracking good bottom spanking (but not by disgraced ex Cllr Phelps).

We have noticed of late that sales of soft drills for head boring have fallen off to the Fielding - Mellen household. We sincerely hope that the family are not using inferior products from Black and Decker.

  3. Having attended a local meeting in Longniddry, he was quoted, and forced to apologise at the following meeting, for saying "I will not be dictated to by a local community". Says it all really.

  4. Mellen (as Rock now likes to be called) is one of those sad adult adolescents who was given everything on a plate but is still trying to find something that he can do.

"Social Capital" was set up with step dad's funding and Mellen felt important, giving himself the title of "Managing Director". But after 10 years of trading there is still no trade - except for family indulgence where he tries to get planning permissions for chunks of step dad's land. And of course the locals will always see off the pup.

Part of the charade is that Mellen got himself elected to office in the Royal Borough (courtesy of fawning social climber Pooter Cockle)and promotes himself as a "planning expert" courtesy of his Royal Borough experience - which is not recognised or respected in the Royal Borough.

A truly sad case of a wasted Eton boy.

A never was and never will be person. Move on boy - get a croft in the Hebrides and drill more holes in your head.

    1. A good councillor is motivated to serve his or her constituents (and not by self interest). Cllr Fielding-Mellen fails this test.

A good councillor works tirelessly to improve the lives of his or her constituents (and not to promote personal agendas). Cllr Fielding-Mellen fails this test.

A good councillor brings experience of life and achievement to the role (and does not use the role to build experience and achievement for personal gain). Cllr Fielding-Mellen fails this test.

  6. Cllr Fielding Mellen is NOT a public servant. A public servant is a government employee. Cllr Fielding Mellen is an elected councillor-a very different animal.
She has always been cruel to those councillors who neglect their duty to those they represent.

What a spectacle on a Sunday morning. Fielding-Mellen in the headlight, Putin Coleridge swinging on the demolition ball and Inspector Palmer throwing snowballs. But I do miss Moylan's DHL jet plane en route to Pat Pong Thailand with important planning applications from the Kuwait Government

    Hastens a return to bed.
