HOPELESS MAYORAL HOPEFUL AND HIS WAY OF FACING THE TERRORIST THREAT!

London may face a massive terrorist threat, yet the Met is so over-staffed it can comfortably field twenty armed police officers to ensure that dangerous terrorist, Julian Assange, remains cooped up in a Knightsbridge embassy.

The Dame, back from buying her weekly supply of anti ageing vitamins from Holland and Barrett, happened to walk past the Ecuadorian Embassy.
She was met by the extraordinary sight of eight police vans and twice as many officers loitering around looking bored stiff.
CRAZY POLICING
The Dame suggested to the officer manning the embassy steps it seemed a frightful waste of time.....and taxpayer's money.
The Dame won't embarrass the officer but she got the distinct impression he felt much more strongly about it than she.
He even suggested, with a roll of his eyes, that it could go on for years.

It's time we said to the Swedes"if you want Assange back so badly you pay the policing costs".

Bernard Hogan-Howe and his hopeless boss, 'Not the Bottom Pincher' Greenhalgh, need to get down to Knightsbridge and judge themselves the lunacy of keeping so many officers tied up whilst Londoner's lives are threatened by murderous terrorists.
One officer is sufficient for the purpose of this pointless exercise.

  1. The Peruvian Embassy is on Sloane Street and unless Assange has dug a tunnel from the Ekwadorian embassy (Matthew Palmer spelling) I doubt he is in residence there.

  3. Over the New Year three North Kensington churches were broken into and robbed. Computers, gifts of toys and even food were stolen. Yet the police told the pastor of the Salvation Army in Portobello Road that the Met lacks the manpower to examine it's own publicly funded CCTV tapes! It's all a matter of setting proper priorities.
