THE DAME UNCOVERS SOMETHING ON STANLEY WARD CANDIDATE

One of the comments on the previous blog was a particularly foolish one. It intimated that one needed 'battle scars' to become a councillor-hilarious when looking at some of our councillors.
The Dame has done some research into the background of Andrew Barshall and found something he seemed particularly reticent to share.
Man of Valour

As His Honour Judge Haworth said,

" I feel I must congratulate Mr Barshall for his exceptional bravery. He pursued the robbers knowing-or at least suspecting-that one or more was armed, that they were desperate to get away and that his life was very much at risk."

His Honour went on to say.... "not everyone would have had the courage to do what he did and I put on record my own and the public's thanks to him."

  3. They have no experience of electioneering. They do not know the tricks. They have never been in battle. They have no machine behind them. They will be wiped out. It does not mean that they are not first rate chaps.

    1. If they are so lacking in experience why are the Tories being put on the defensive. If they do not know the tricks why is it that Pooter has been forced into a grovelling climbdown on the Sutton Estate, and pascal has been forced to speak to the voters for the first time in anyones memory.
From where I stand it looks like the Tories have forgotten how to win an election.

Imagine Pooter and Boys Moylan chasing after an armed bandit

  6. Let’s hope the Chelsea Indies are sufficiently politically aware to notice that where the Tories say on their leaflet they support the Fulham Wing being part of the NHS in the first phase of the Royal Brompton development, this is easy to say as even the Royal Brompton aren’t going to sell it off as part of Phase One. The Tories just have to get past 22 May and they can then agree to the private sale of the Fulham Wing without breaching any electoral commitment!

  7. Remember five times a night Stewart Rose? And Freddie Starr eating a hamster? Small stories make big headlines.

Mr Barshall needs to pump up his bravery of tackling armed robbers and turn himself into a Chelsea Superman.

    1. Luv it. "Pooter Cockle nabbed by Superman". "Creepy Pascal caught out by Batman".
