Last night the Cabinet and Corporate Services Scrutiny Committee voted unanimously to recommend that the decision to award the lease to the property developing Ritblats be reconsidered.
It seems that Cllr Feilding Mellen did not acquit himself well.
This might be the moment for the Leader to ditch his useless deputy
As a Conservative leaning parent I was very impressed by the way Emma Dent Coad handled matters
ReplyDeleteMore useless crowing in the Hornet. Scrutiny Committees never made a fig of difference to anything. Never did and never will. Hot air from hot mouths and bad breath. The Committees exist to keep the children occupied. Ritblats have got their project - so there.
DeleteAll the sad bloggers can go find another lost cause to whine about
I had the misfortune to converse with Cllr Cockell....phew...talk about stinking breath.
DeleteThe puerility of your comment, taken with the 'so there' points the finger at Cllr Palmer: a man with grave difficulty in spellin' and grammar!
With Notting Hill Prep the Council is up against big boys...not pathetic, 'done nothing' councillors who spend their time on their pathetic little share portfolios
Sounds like an outbreak of democracy in Hornton Street. Cracking
ReplyDeleteCllr "Rock" is deeply involved in advising clients like the Ritblats how to "work" local planning systems and get their plans approved. Could we hear some more about his behaved concerning the plans for this particular application by the Ritblat riff raff? There is no suggestion that Cllr Mellen was advising the riff raff
ReplyDeleteCracking. Cracking
DeleteCllr Rock got himself elected as a Councillor at K&C and set up a consultancy to advise developers how to get their plans approved in Town Halls. The accounts of said consultancy (posted at Companies House) show that Rock's company has never made any money in terms of declared profits. But of course we live in an opaque world

The Inspector claims to be widely disseminating the ludicrous seminar on procurement that he plagiarised from a published textbook through his Council Skills operation. But this does not seem to be on his declaration of interests.
