And trust Cranbrook to use children to promote a soft, cuddly image. Every resident knows its activities are a blight on the community.

What a bunch of naive twits
ReplyDeleteThe joke is that the house in the photograph belongs to Cllr Husband. The large cracks down the front (you can see daylight through them) is the result of the neighbouring basement excavation. The developers have rather elegantly said "Prove It".
ReplyDeleteThe even bigger joke is that the feeble Cllr Husband is not prepared to make a public fuss in an attempt to build support for the anti basement legislation.
What a silly and useless fellow
In which case I'm sure an enterprising estate agent will happily describe the crack as a "character feature" to any prospective buyers should he ever decide to sell.
ReplyDeleteCllr. Husband: this is your home your neighbour and their contractors are slowly destroying. Drop the party politics and other such ideological rubbish and make a stand. Perhaps it is impossible to "prove" that they caused the damage to your home, but the apparent outcome of your neighbour's greed deserves a public airing.
