BORIS AND BORWICK....A PUNCHY TEAM

It was gratifying to see one of our K&C councillors, Victoria Borwick, in today's Standard.
Borwick is one of our hardest working councillors-and a credit to K&C.
It seems a lot of arm twisting was required before Pippa Crerar corraled her into doing an interview.
Cllr Borwick seems to have been persona non grata in the days of Pooter Cockell-such a shame that he blocked the career path of this very talented and well liked councillor. Let's hope that the new, enlightened and sensible regime will use this councillor to better effect.

Cream always rises to the top. Cllr Borwick is getting the recognition that she deserves. Good for London and a loss to K&C. What a pity that her abilities were not recognised by the dreadful Cllr Cockell

    1. As most of his colleagues find him a tiresome bore no one listens to him

  5. She would have been a great leader of K&C...even the Labour Group highly regard her.

    1. The pathetic Labour Group are a total irrelevance and should be ashamed of themselves for their meek collusion with the Majority Party.
Horton Street is just a cosy little club where residents and their view's count for nothing.

    1. Palmer....go find something useful to do...like your manage your little share portfolio.
Because someone 'has made a difference to peoples' lives' should not be a reason for your schoolboy pique

A sad little outburst of jealousy and envy from Cllr Palmer. Mathew, why not just be proud that one of our Councillors is serving Londoners and serving them well. A cause for celebration surely?

  7. Small brain equals small thought. Sad Palmer is trapped in his personal world of envy and loathing

  8. Cllr Borwick should be congratulated on making her way in a tough world. And doing so with enthusiasm, joy, openness and niceness. Characteristics not always associated with politicians. Refreshing and inspiring

Cllr Borwick was not entirely passed over in Hornton Street. Cllr Buckmaster recognised her value when he appointed Victoria to be his Deputy Mayor

  10. One of the best in Hornton Street. She is one of the most dedicated, honourable Councillors we have. It is predictable that Cockell ignored her expertise as he was such an ignorant little man.

But now she can shine, well done Victoria it shows hard work pays off in the end.

    Cockell? Who's that!

  15. Treachery, Disloyalty, Back-stabbing are words heard in Hornton Street when a certain VB is mentioned. That might be a reason the Conservative group do not trust her, and probably won't until Palmer is booted out.
