THE DAME HUMILIATED....SRA'S REMAIN THE SAME

DUNCE!

When the Dame makes a serious error she has compunction in putting up her hands and saying, 'Guilty, as charged'....

Was it just too much too expect that the over generous Special Responsibily Allowances would be reduced? It seems so judging from this irate letter from a resident.....

  1. Bad marks on this to the Dame and more so Paget-Brown

  2. Paget-Brown is simply more of the same.

Nothing will change in the Rotten Borough unless and until residents cease voting Conservative by rote.

Ukip is not the only alternative.

  6. Very bad news. For a moment it seemed that Paget-Brown might be a reforming Leader. So much to do to make up for the rotten Cockell years

It is usually the early days that show the measure of the man. Inertia is a powerful tendency in organisations

We told you so. Only Moylan has the guts to change the rotten Borough. But the voters chickened out of making him Leader

    1. Don't be daft...the greed of Moylan is so great SRA's would have risen. Worse, we would have to foot vast compensation payments as key staff upped sticks. Moylan is a menace and that why Boris and the K&C councillors dumped him. But support him as he feels very pissed upon

    2. And a huge courier bill for papers to be sent to the Moylan apartment in Bangkok, where he needs rest and recreation

  8. The Dame is not such a Dunce. The Council published a paper showing that three SRA's for Cabinet Members have been re-aligned. To the man in the street this means changed to a lower level. If there has been no change what is the point of publishing the list and inferring that there have been changes?

More devious and misleading communication from the Council. The Cockell style is obviously continuing. Maybe Paget-Brown is a waste of space after all and the poodles should have voted for Moylan

  10. Cllr. Paget-Brown has increased the number of Cabinet members but kept the overall cost the same. He needs as many allies as possible to balance the rising influence of the dangerous idiot Mellen. The Dame's readers must be a bit patient, Rome was not built in a day

  11. It took Labour three years to divest themselves of O'Neill once he lost the protection of the disgraced Cunningham.

    1. Has the capitalist landlord, O'Neill, been dumped? Are we about to celebrate "disgraced ex Cllr O'Neill"?

All true to form. The Tories get dumped for sex offences (disgraced EX Cllr Phelps and disgraced ex Cllr Lamont) and Labour get dumped for money transgressions (soon to be disgraced ex Cllr O'Neill?)

    2. It's all been kept quiet and oh-so-discreet, but it seems O'Neill has lost the Labour whip. So he is still a Councillor, but not a Labour Councillor. Hence the blue gown, and sitting on his own in Council.

  13. and Cunningham is picking up tens of thouands advising the super rich on how to get their mega basements through. You don't need to be a greedy hypocrite to be on their council:it certainly helps though.
