PLANE SPEAKING AND PIE IN THE SKY FROM DANIEL MOYLAN

ASCOT ON SEA
It seems as if anyone who objects to Boris Island Airport is, to coin the phraseology of silly old Ken Clarke,"a nutcase/clown/fruitcake.

That is the only surmise the Dame reaches as she listens to Danny ranting on about objectors to his £50 billion folly...one which will make his £27 million Exhibition Rd 'silliness' seem harmless by comparison!
Still, we know Daniel must be right:Willie Walsh, CE of BA; Lord Adonis and Richard Branson...plus all the Commons think it a madcap idea....and we all know how dense they are compared to Daniel.

Anyway, the Dame heard him come out with this priceless piece of intelligence to rebut research made by the Guild of Travel Management Companies.

THEY SAY....'many business travellers  choose to live near Heathrow for convenience.

DANNY BOYS SAYS.... "People move house every seven to eight years on average, so business travellers will have ample opportunity to plan.”

The inference being that international businessmen living in Virginia Water, Ascot, St George's Hill and other desirable areas, will have plenty of time to relocate to the estuarine wilds of Essex! You could not make it up!

Cllr Moylan knows how to get up the Dame's nose.

  2. Now that his Leadership bid has failed in K&C Moylan needs to resume his efforts to create the oxygen of publicity, without which he cannot live.

  3. One of Moylan's very few attractions is his ability to produce an endless series of outrageous and very often unacceptably personal comments. In this respect at least, he has few peers.
