Things seem to be hotting up nicely at Hornton Street however it is a shame that two of candidates are awful. 

Rock is an incredibly inexperienced candidate who also happens to be a privileged chancer and opportunist and Daniel Moylan is simply bad news. 

It really does show the state of democracy in Tory stronghold, RBK&C when they can only come up with candidates of this standard; the other Councillors should feel ashamed of themselves. 

They are simply quite happy to continue with the status quo and none of them other than Nick have been prepared to stick their heads above the parapet. 

It utterly confounds me why the system does not encourage better quality and experience. 

In my opinion Nick is honest, hard working and a safe pair of hands. A couple of weeks ago I had a chat with him and he is by far the best candidate by a mile. I will forgive him for his love of Holland Park Opera but this is the type of issue that I would hope Nick would implement or seek some form of compromise. 

I think that if anyone other than Nick becomes Leader then a Constituency which in the past has always been a safe Tory stronghold will be severely weakened, so much so that some of the wards could be up for grabs for the likes of UKIP. 

I think Nick will implement change for the better and he has the advantage of following such a very poor Leader.
