THE HORNTON ST STAKES....RUNNERS

The Dame had hoped that Jonathan Frazer-Howells would get out of his sulk and let the Dame know who is in the running. But here they are anyway.....
It seems as if entries need to be tomorrow night.
Now the Dame wishes you would all stop inundating her with your requests. Victoria Borwick is otherwise committed so evidently can't stand. However, the vast majority of you say the next leader should be either Tim Coleridge or Nick Paget-Brown.
The Dame has no view though she hears locals have huge respect for Tim C.

TIM AHERN .......pondering his decision
TIM  COLERIDGE...... hot to trot
NICK PAGET-BROWN..... very likely

DANNY 'BOYS' MOYLAN.....  ringing around smarming up to those he normally insults

and as ex Cllr Phelps would say...'you could not make this one up'.....

ROCK FEILDING MELLEN....less said the better

  2. So no Borwick or Mills - the candidates with gravitas and ability.

  3. Borwick would get a large cross borough vote

  4. Where is Victoria Borwick?

  5. Victoria's problem....so I have heard...is that it would mean her giving up her GLA seat and causing a by election. She is desperately sad not to stand and has been extremely touched by all the support she has had. Even Labour would have backed her which shows what we all think of her.

  6. There have been council leaders who have held GLA positions at the same time - so wohever told you that is wrong

    1. You are right, of course, but Victoria does not feel that it is compatible with her heavy existing duties. Of course, there are other greedy buggers who don't see it that way

  7. This Borough needs Victoria Borwick!

  8. Where is Victoria Borwick?

  9. Paget-Brown lacks self confidence and will not stand. He picks up £60k as Deputy. Why the extra hassle and responsibility for only another £5k?

  10. Pity Cllr Mills is not there. She stands a good chance. And the Marshall/Mellen vote would swing to her in all probability

  11. If the Dame is right then there will be an election. Great stuff

  12. Coleridge thinks it is his of right. Ahern does not want to fight if he thinks he will lose.

  13. What do they stand for? We should be told. How are they different?

    1. Exactly. We all know what they want to take out. But what will they put in?
