Unsurprisingly, only Danny Br'um Boyo Moylan thinks that these ghastly, parvenu basement builders, who like to flaunt their wealth,should be welcomed into our elegant Borough. But then Boyo has never really understood that vulgar showoffs are not welcome in the Borough.

Unfortunately this exercise is doomed to failure. Too technical, too complicated, and too inaccessible. Ward Councillors should be close to their residents and are therefore the best gauge of feeling and what needs to change. Mr Bore (the Planning Director) should poll Councillors and find out "what is really what"
ReplyDeleteCrucial issue but it needs to be tackled in a sensible way. This is more paper pushing inspired by Cllr Ahern who is actually quite lazy. We need a dedicated and active Cabinet Member to spearhead this. A person who is dedicated to making a difference and tackles the problem with imagination and determination.

ReplyDeleteI do understand that it is too technical for 16:51, who, my guess, is one of the brain challenged councillors on the Major Planning Applications Committee, who nods through every dubious application that Pooter thinks will add to his stature or Danny thinks will attract the 'right people' to the Royal Borough.
